If the conventions break down or become too corrupt, the guns eventually come out. That's why respecting the Constitution as a bedrock principle is a peace keeper. But everyone has to do it for that to work. Those who try to trample the Constitution want differences settled by guns. And if certain people trample the Constriction, then, after the benefit is in their hands, they tell you and everyone else you have to follow the Constitution, they are merely saying their guns are bigger than you guns.
