Senator from Vermont who has been in office 50 years. Jackie Speier is a Dem. Representative from California who was slated to be Nancy Pelosi's heiress. She also survived the Jim Jones shooting episode before the mass suicide. She was a staffer for Congressman Leo Ryan. Both of these are Democrat heavyweights.
