Seeing with one's own eyes as MSK promotes, effectively induction, dissipates rationalism. Rand said, as reported by Peikoff: "I wouldn't have a philosophy without induction". Not emphasized enough in the O'ist methodology, I think, is that each thinker needs to induce for themselves. How else does one arrive at the principles - short of blindly repeating Rand's conclusions and propositions? (And misapplying them).
