You mentioned you were living in Ontario, so I actually looked at a map. Your province extends south of Detroit. In that same area there are a lot of Asian food restaurants. The Sun Hong Barbeque and Seafood Restaurant sounds interesting. I’ll take the Sweet and Sour Pork (Hong Kong style) for 14.95 and the Shrimp Fried Rice for 12.95. Can you use American money and a credit card? Then walk across the route 3 bridge into Detroit.
anthony
Where authoritarianism worked. In reverse. In one of the poorest socialist country ruled by a paternalist, Daniel Ortega and his wife, one could predict the worst Covid losses. But here's a lesson in pandemic handling for the rich and free nations. The numbers `might` be under-reported by the state and state media, as health workers moan, but assuming even if by 10 times, non-intervention was effective: Not locking down and mask-mandating, nor mandating vaxxing, Nicaragua was a comparatively huge success story, showing up the inept 'experts', nannyists and alarmists elsewhere. The cost in casualties was low while people's lives went on. Chanced upon, none of this is getting media attention except a single Telegraph article. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwi81If94sT1AhUSgFwKHcv2CvUQFnoECCIQAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.npr.org%2F2021%2F05%2F12%2F996122094%2Fcitizens-work-to-expose-covids-real-toll-in-nicaragua-as-leaders-claim-success&usg=AOvVaw1jrAtZZB129j2TRg66eUEw The Reuters graphs and further down, the country's Lock down policy for schools, work places, stay at homes, border controls - tells the story of minimal interference and loss. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjY5paA8sT1AhWHUcAKHZukBWMQFnoECAYQAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fgraphics.reuters.com%2Fworld-coronavirus-tracker-and-maps%2Fcountries-and-territories%2Fnicaragua%2F&usg=AOvVaw2UxF6jIvS06Xv4U2-6t0MD

We were just thinking about our last trip to Florida. We considered driving and visiting relatives and sightseeing along the way, but we ended up flying. It's only thirty here but the snow from last night is melting. I took an old broom and brushed the snow off our car and truck. I saw the take home for the Mega-millions Lottery, after taxes, is 150 million bucks but I don't know how much Canadians would take home. The next drawing is Tuesday night. Two bucks a ticket. Fun. But I hate it when I don't even get one number right.

ThatGuy
Moderna Stock Crash Intensifies: Losses Top $130 Billion "Battered by a steep broad-market selloff this week, Moderna shares fell for a sixth straight day Friday as experts questioned whether Covid-19 vaccine sales alone will help justify the firm’s meteoric valuation, intensifying a crash that’s wiped out more than 60% of the value in one of last year’s top stocks and turned it into this year’s worst performer. "Moderna stock fell 4.4% Friday to an eight-month low of $160, pushing shares down more than 20% over the past week amid growing research suggesting Moderna’s Covid-19 booster, while very effective against previous strains, has been less effective against the rapidly spreading omicron variant." Michael Stuart Kelly
5 hours ago, ThatGuy said: Moderna Stock Crash Intensifies: Losses Top $130 Billion TG, When I see that, the following comes into my head. Follow the money... Look at the world. See what is happening in the world. Follow the money. The world is opening up on mandates, passports, vaxes, etc. Now we find one of the principals is losing money. Is that why all this is happening in the world? Nope. It's the contrary. Nobody loses money like that from one day to the next. The people backstage have known about this problem for some time. And those among them who could have helped did not. They all know something the general public does not. For Moderna, what is happening is not good. For humans in general, it is wonderful. I look forward to seeing the whole goddam thing crash around the predator state seeing what they did to the world. Michael
