CNA
Wow, Angie! Dude, did you feel awkward when he was singing to you? I totally would. Can't believe your friend dated the lead singer of RHCP. Pretty cool shit. I remember hearing Roseanne Barr talk about him on a talk show. She said that she called his answering machine and spoke in a british accent saying that she was pregnant with his baby. Then she said she talked to him later on and his girlfriend had broken up with him because of it. Could be complete crap, but still funny. Roseanne Barr doing a british accent? Yeah right. That R. Kelly peeing on 16 year olds doesn't really piss me off, it's more funny to me. Maybe if it was someone much younger. Sixteen year olds should know better. I should post "Ice Ice Baby"! Love that song. Or maybe "Tricky" by Run DMC. Have to find it later.Oh, Kori, you poor depraved child...LOL...you really like Ice Ice Baby? You're too much. Too many very very funny memories from when he was around. But please do post some Vanilla Ice. I need a really good laugh right now. Oh, my God. Hey, you wanna throw in some MC Hammer and some Mili Vanilli while you're at it. Edited November 29, 2006 by CNA
BAMF
That's cool you didn't feel awkward. I would've felt like screaming, "QUIT IT!"Was your friend a groupie or something? LOL. Yeah, apparently he has a huge cock...he's got nothing on Ron Jeremy though! LMAO. Did you ever see the RHCP performance when they were naked except for socks on their cocks? Can't R. Kelly just QUIT peeing on people?! LOL. Did he force them to do it or did they just let him? Excuse my language, but FUCK that! I would do a lot of things, but NEVER let somebody piss on me. LMAO.No, she wasn't a groupie but can tell you many stories of some of the things that went on with them...YIKES. At any rate, she had a friend that knew one of the members of the band and it went from there for her, although the first time she met him was backstage at one of their concerts. This is when they were becoming well known, many years ago. For me, knew quite a few people when I was younger that had some type of foot in the music industry, nothing major. Plus my being involved in another industry but also nothing major but was exposed to different people involved in music in some way or another. Spent many nights watching jam sessions, etc. Plus had a few close friends in bands, etc., then. No, I haven't seen their performance where they are butt naked but I can imagine what that must have looked like....LOL hell, they should have put on some glow in the dark condoms and turned off all the lights while jumping around making asses of themselves on stage. With R. Kelly, it was consensual. But to my understanding, one of them was as young as 12 or 13. Touchy subject there.Yeah, the golden showers are a bit of an eyebrow raiser but know of other things that can be a lot more extreme, as I am sure you are also aware. If that is what rocks your boat, consensual, etc., then what you do behind closed doors is your business and no one else's.

BAMF
The whole R. Kelly thing is a touchy thing for me. Every time there is some scandal where a 16 year old slept with a teacher or whatever, I'm always the only one that isn't fucking outraged (unless it's not consensual). I wish R. Kelly wasn't famous sometimes though...have you heard his wretched (but hilarious) "hip-hopera"?Do they have glow in the dark condoms? *thinks* Coolies! That would be pretty cool to know some people in the music industry, then maybe I could get better seats at concerts. LOL...it sounds freakin' hilarious. I've been listening to Napster today looking for certain songs !! But listening much while working even still now so I'll go check it out. Yes, they have glow in the dark condoms. They're to die for and totally comical. If I am remembering correctly, maybe not though, there was an old Pink Panther movie where some guy donned the glowies. And in the bedroom scene, they turned the lights off while he was running around the room and it was just too freakin' much. I was laughing so hard I started crying. Yes, the condom fit perfectly if you know what I mean. LOLAh, wait, maybe it wasn't a Pink Panther movie. Older movie though, mid 80s maybe. Edit: now don't hold me to this. LOL I think it may have been an Austin Powers movie ?? Anyway... Edited November 29, 2006 by CNA

Victor Pross
THE MONKEES [okay, so kill me] Really, total childhood memories here. The tunes are toe tapers and some of them are very funny! You godda give it a try if you’re not too familiar with the Monkees. Indulge me in my guilty pleasure. You know what? I saw them live. No shit. It was 1984 when we they played in Toronto. Yes, the friends I was with snuck booze in, and we had a blast. How many people do you know can say "I saw the Monkees live and had a great time!" Rodney
Re The Monkees, I wonder how many know that "A Little Bit Me, a Little Bit You" was written by Neil Diamond? It's a great song. The Monkees had top-notch material offered to them. Two others that impress me as a songwriter are:"Shades of Grey" (they were thrilled to be given this masterpiece!)"Look Out, Here Comes Tomorrow" (written by Neil Diamond--a gem, pun intended)I advise that you listen to the records, though, not any other version or live performance, which may not be as effective.
