  1. Please do. The situation is so friggin' tragic, and I'm afraid it's going to get worse with long-term effects. Ellen
  2. Again, your quoting a description of "the scientific method" doesn’t demonstrate a blinking thing regarding your having a scientific mindset. You don’t have that, or a clue what having it would be. Even your oft-repeated statement that you "follow the science" is a give-away that you don’t know what being scientific is. Instead you think of "science" as an authority source. Ellen
  3. Never for you, I think. You’re too old to develop a scientific mindset even if you tried to. You’re stuck with the dictates of authority figures. Ellen
  4. I signed back in to say that I think I remember what the missing post was, and I found your search story which provides confirmation because of the two Tweets which show in your screenshot. It was a picture collage of 64 young Canadian doctors who have died. Ellen
  5. Marc, Notice that your post from Sunday at 12:28 pm EDT is now blank: https://www.objectivistliving.com/topic/10131-canadian-politics-boring-beyond-belief-or-just-dull-and-tedious/page/40/#comment-316172 (I don’t remember what the post was. Something not allowed, I gather.) Ellen
  6. TG, You'll never get fair from Peter. He doesn’t have fair in him to give. He's done the same sorts of things he's been doing here on issue after issue ever since he started posting on Old Atlantis twenty-two years ago - including the accusations of not being "an Objectivist" against anyone who doesn’t see things his (head in the sand) way. As to myself, I never have considered myself "an Objectivist." Rand was much too ignorant of biology for me to sign on in full. I'm a "fellow traveler" - and very admiring and appreciative of the genius feat of writing Atlas Shrugged. Ellen
  7. Your version of rational thinking: Person wearing white coat, stethoscope around neck, authority has spoken. OBEY! Ellen
  8. Peter, Wake up. The doctors recommending the Jabs are wrong. And I would never, on any issue, simply take a doctor's word for anything. I always assess for myself. And to repeat, I was leery of the whole idea of the Jabs as soon as I read how they work. Repeating a post of mine you might not have seen since it was cross-posted with something of yours. Ellen
  9. The difference between the Covid Jabs and actual vaccines is so enormous, calling the Jabs a "vaccine" is an Orwellian perversion of language. What the Covid Jabs in effect do is give the recipient an auto-immune disorder. Ellen
  10. Peter, Your quoting a definition of "science" doesn’t demonstrate that you have a clue what science is. Real science, the nitty-gritty, difficult practice thereof, a pursuit which has been my natural atmosphere since I was very young. What your crud about "political" and Q-Anon is all about, I don’t know, except that whatever it’s about, it doesn’t pertain to me. Ellen
  11. You haven’t a clue what science is. Ellen
  12. The Covid Jab doesn’t prevent anyone from getting Covid - or "lessen the severity" either (that's the last available straw being grasped trying to maintain the fiction that the Jabs accomplish anything positive). I didn’t say anything about people over 50. I think that they're fools to get Jabbed unless they must to keep from being fired from a job and thus losing benefits and a pension, etc. Ellen
  13. DAMN THEM!!! And Damn Them again. They're almost making me wish I believed in Hell. Ellen
  14. The majorly significant alternative that Doug Brignole overlooked is the possibility that he lived but nevertheless it’s true that the Jab kills people. No one claims that the Jab kills all or even most of those who get it. Brignole's statement "If I don’t die, and have no ill effects, you were wrong…" was nitwit level dumb. He was probably a high risk person. People who are in excellent physical condition and do regular aerobic exercise, especially males, appear to be particularly vulnerable to Jab-caused death from sudden cardiac arrest. (Bafflement regarding the cause of death is the standard medical assessment in such cases, but c'mon….) Ellen
  15. Quoting Doug Brignole from Michael's post just above: "Those of you who think the vaccine kills people can use me as a test. If I die, you were right. If I don’t die, and have no ill effects, you were wrong…" Although I think that it's very likely that the Jab is what killed him, his reasoning was lousy. More alternatives than he allowed for. Ellen
  16. Not wrong. On the same lines Tony has been saying and documenting all along. Tony summarizes: Requoting so the whole quote shows and adding emphasis: "Poke Putin into a self-defensive, pre-emptive invasion, and there you go: the rationale and justification for Nato's continued existence and expansion! "But join the Club, you'll be protected. "We told you the Russians would be a threat again one day. Only took about 30 years to wangle it" I.e., aggression but not "unprovoked." Escalation not "initiation" of force. Plus, regarding the atrocities you insist (contra evidence) the Russians are committing: Requoting part of that and adding emphasis: "A can of worms. Atrocities, civilian targeting - you don't want to go there, I think. Might be disturbing to know the reality. Ten to one, they are fanatical ultra-nationalist, Ukrainian committed and/or constructed." Ellen
  17. Next they'll have an mRNA jab to bring people killed by the Covid one back to life - only they'll have trouble with persons who were cremated. Ellen
  18. Notice how persistently Peter ignores the well-informed material and commentary Tony keeps providing. The applicable Objectivist term is "evasion." Ellen
  19. Worse, my trusted MSM have lied, lied, lied, but I'll keep my head firmly glued in comforting sand and continue to believe the story they tell. Ellen
  20. I figure that if Gates is predicting Civil War, he's involved in machinations aimed at producing Civil War. Worrisome. Ellen
  21. Trump was also given monoclonal antibodies. I worried at the time about possible interference effects, but possibly whatever interference effects occurred were to the good, that is, the lessening of possible toxicity from Remdesivir. (I didn’t know then how dangerous Remdesivir is.) Ellen
  22. The whole NIH/CDC/FDA network has become monstrous, like "The monster grim was Grendel called…" or some similar beast devouring people. Back in NBI days, one of the recommended books was titled Poverty Is Where the Money Is. I've been thinking of a play on that title throughout this whole Covid-Jabs progression: Health Is Where the Power Is. Money, too, of course, lots of that. But the health authorities seem to me most of all like power-hungry maniacs connivers. Ellen EDIT: I shouldn’t have said "maniacs." I got carried away, I was so angry. The health authorities I mean aren’t crazy. They're deliberate in what they do.
