They completely polarize all of humanity with no middle ground to reveal everyone for what they are.GregThat is close to being true. I have not the slightest idea why this is the case. I have some theories on why Jews are not universally loved and are very often scorned or attacked.Part of the problem is "the Chosen People" meme which is a dreadfully bad notion as well as an untrue notion. Here we go:Jewish traders or travelers comes to town (this is back in the days when Pagan gods were common).1. they do not acknowledge the local deities.2. they do not do even a courtesy or pro-forma bow to the local gods.3. they will not sit down and eat with the locals (dietary rules etc.)4. they do not socialized with the locals, no schmoozing. Only business is done (and honest business at that).5. they are a socially closed group. Very little cordiality is exchanged with the locals however the behavior of the Jewish traders is absolutely honest and morally correct.Result: The local townies are annoyed. Who are these people? Who do they think they are? Are they too good to sit down and eat with us? They stick together, they are stuck up and they even think they are better than we are. America's willingness to support Israel is accurately represented by its freely elected leaders. The animosity between Natanyahu, a morally strong man, and Obama an amorally weak feminized liberal male, is palpable. I have attacked weak Israeli leaders over and over .The real issue though is when hatred comes out in the media , or via threads like this . Hatred against the Jews for whatever reasons people have .I have seen this numerous times on this thread .Our banned friend was simply the only one who did not disguise her views , she was very straight forward , as others ( 3-4 folks ) simply have a better vocabulary and are able to run ridiculous circular arguments.I respect her and Arafat more than said posters because they are being honest . Brant Gaede
I don't think she was being honest, Marc. I think she was outright lying about an extant evil. "Outright" doesn't mean "honest." There is also a ways of telling truth by telling outright lies. They did it all the time in the Soviet Union. It wasn't overall done very well, of course. The USSR collapsed under the weight of all the lying. It's correct to say disrespect less than "respect ... more" here, btw. Why respect Arafat at all? You need to do more than get the trains to run on time to get any respect from me. --Brant

There are a tremendous amount of points that are factually incorrect here . Do your own homework , read , then you will clearly see what I am speaking about . Criticism is just that . Rewriting history is another issue . Who was it who said " check your premises ? " I can be sarcastic too my friend . There are attacks on this thread , there is also criticism . I am concerned about the attacks only . I have posted a lot of links here and they explained some of the issues in detail , and there were not too many responses from what I recall . This is a great board , the people are amazing , even our banned friend is cool , we all get our points of views . she though at least stated her hatred openly . There are a few folks here who are hiding behind word games , and thats all right . What is not all right is that I simply accept it , I get to state the truth . Thats my right . Marc
I do apologize for my scattered thoughts but I did not want to quote 20 posts here , so I am just writing what comes to mind after reading the whole 6 pages of this great discussion .For anyone who does not really understand the area or population , this is for you . Israel land area: 8,000 sq miles.Arab land area: 5,120,000 sq miles.Israeli total population is 7,116,200, ALL people who live in Israel, BUT 1,413,500 or 20% are Arabs (Muslim & Druze).Israel is surrounded by 270 million Arab Muslims. Thanks for providing the useful context of scale, Marc. It begs the question:Why have the Muslims (or the rest of the world for that matter) been in a constant hissyfit for so long over just one teeny tiny little country?Hmmm?... GregThis is the quote that better explains my issues about this thread . If you would like to start somewhere , then answer this for me please ? To the last few posters who have an issue with what I stated .

I am not going to start a flame war here and repost the issues that are incorrect . When I or someone else jumped in and attempted to correct said posts , these 3 or 4 posters simply never responded to the historical facts . They either moved on , or started to play word games . I respect MSK too much to go over 27 pages and start to repost stuff that is there for folks to check if anyone desires to see what points have been made . Again , I ask you to do your homework and not tell me to check the pages just to repost everything here and get certain folks upset . I stated the truth, believe it or deny it .
