Marc
MSK , When Trump bows out ( probably pre Iowa ) or makes a weak effort at a 3rd party run , the Toronto Blue Jays win the division and World Series , and Apple stock never sees $131 again can I at least rent a corner on OL and call it " Prediction markets " ? Michael Stuart Kelly
Does anyone think people like the following are going to increase? I do. I expect more and more creative people like this are going to start popping up out of nowhere. And this is precisely where Trump is going to kill it with the public. Not by manipulating people. Just letting people themselves talk through the nay-sayers. Believe it or not, I think these lovely ladies planted an image of Donald Trump in Don Lemon's head that was not there before--a positive image from a cultural slant he can't help but resonate with. Creative people from all demographics are going to be popping up and doing their own thing. I predict this election will be an explosion of creativity by the folks, not so much by the PACs or by the politicians. Michael
Peter
I think I counted 7 people on a Yahoo story about an anti-Trump rally. Here were some of the signs: Sideshow, world’s most delusional MAN - #NOTMY PRESIDENT – and MR. HATE, LEAVE MY STATESeven people protesting but it generated a whole news story on Yahoo. I think Michael may be right in the short term. The anti Trump vitriole will fail miserably. Anybody could look at that picture and count the people.Trump holds a news conference in Wisconsin. It was pretty good. He said what happened at a Bernie Sanders rally *they took over the mike* will not happen at a Trump rally. Supporters will stop it and I saw at least three Secret Service types with Trump. Excellent! From the news. I see the market is down again and the Chinese yuan is being devalued . . . again. That will be bad for importers though I would advise a financial advisor to explain the long term investment risks and the higher costs for Americans buying Chinese goods. Peter
Heard the News? The Trump meme is spreading. I went to three primary sites and there were three ads for Donald Trump. Can this man save the country, one said? He IS spending his own money. He HAS PROMISED to publish his positions. He is holding news conferences. He is the most serious candidate though favorite sons like Kasich are going to do well in their own states. Oddly, in Florida Bush appears to be beating Rubio easily. This is getting serious. What will Trump’s ground game be in Iowa, and New Hampshire? Is he going to pop a breath mint into his mouth and kiss babies, and not just babes with boobs? Well, candidate Trump may kiss just one widdle baby, but only forthe home team. Here are the battlegrounds. By Super Tuesday we will know if American will survive financial failure, Iran, and Putin. Will it be morning in America?February Monday, February 1 Iowa caucusTuesday, February 9 New HampshireSaturday, February 20 Nevada caucus (Dem) South Carolina (GOP)Tuesday, February 23 Nevada caucus (GOP)Saturday, February 27 South Carolina (Dem)Tuesday, March 1 (Super Tuesday) Alabama Arkansas Colorado caucuses Georgia Massachusetts Minnesota caucuses North CarolinaOklahoma Tennessee Texas Vermont Virginia

I predict this election will be an explosion of creativity by the folks, not so much by the PACs or by the politicians.MichaelI think that there are probably some people who aren't very familiar with Trump due to their never having seen his Apprentice/Celebrity Apprentice (which can be quite fun shows to watch), and they therefore buy into the media's attempts to smear him, where people who have seen the programs feel that they know him and have a sense of his having a great amount of honor. They see him as very highly valuing and rewarding strong women, and as celebrating goodness/kindness in all people. The tough, cut-throat business attitude (or "killer" mindset, as Trump calls it) only gets you so far with him, and if that's all that you've got and all that you are, you'll be gone pretty quickly. On rare occasions you might be kept around for entertainment value, but that's all.I think Trump has a large fan base who have seen him behave many times in the exact opposite way that the media are trying to portray him, and they're not buying what the media are selling. In some cases, his classy and generous treatment of people on his show has connected very deeply with viewers, and he's earned their loyalty. They're going to believe their own eyes rather than the media or Trump's opponent candidates. It's really a dumb move for the other candidates to try to convince his fans that he's a sexist elitist monster when they've seen for themselves years of evidence to the contrary. So far, Cruz appears to be the only candidate smart enough to praise Trump's virtues and to recognize that he's not going to get anywhere inventing issues on which to attack and smear him just because he's leading in the polls.J

This is exciting for sure and its great news to see someone bring something different to US politics at a very important time in US and world history . Sad part is is that I would prefer to see a very successful business person be POTUS , than a Harvard Constitutional law professor any day - my wishes have nothing to do with this , I am a realist . I don't want to start quoting the real important numbers , because folks will just stay on their current sides of this thread here .The numbers that matter here , Trump is not doing well with , and cannot win . Michael Stuart Kelly
Here's what an insider just said. And he's the guy who Trump fired, Roger Stone. For those who don't know who Roger Stone is, he's a Republican hatchet man who started around Nixon times. He knows the dirt on everyone. And he's worked as an insider on many successful Republican campaigns and some real controversial stuff. For a man who Trump fired, he says he resigned, Stone should be trashing Trump. On the contrary, he has nothing but good to say about Trump. For those who don't want to watch the video to the end (the zinger comment is within the last 20 seconds or so), Stone said the following: The ruling class is pissing their pants here. This guy is a challenge to the two-party duopoly that is running the government. Michael

He no doubt has a mission , and a reason and a raison d'être . I could only guess that it is either to start a 3rd party that eventually could get some steam and maybe in 2020 win a few states , and in 2024 actually make a difference in US politics . Perhaps it is the Clinton connection , or maybe just to really change the Republicans and their ridiculous ways on certain issues . Maybe to be the actually King maker once he gathers enough steam close to Iowa and then announces his deal with whoever he made or will make his deal with .No idea really which one really and I honestly could not really care less . My only point here is my mantra , " no chance " .

Peter
Marc wrote about Trump’s chances of winning the election: My only point here is my mantra, "no chance". end quoteA lot of people in the know were saying today that Hillary Clinton has broken the oaths she took to be Secretary of State, broken her word, and broke laws. She is under investigation by the Department of Justice and the FBI. Her crimes are thought to be much worse than what General Petraeus did. Her motive may have been secrecy. She may have wanted to show off her access to classified data to a fan or a lover. Her motive may have been treason – was she selling TOP SECRET documents to our enemies for money? She knew about the risks of penetration by Chinese, North Korean, and Russian hackers, but she still put classified material onto her home computers. Like the Dukes of Hazard, she has been in trouble with the law since the day she was born. Except, the traitorous elite lie and are protected. Hillary and Bill are always one step ahead of the law and they USUALLY get away with every illegal thing they do. She should be dressed in orange and picking up trash on the side of the highway.Who’s next in line for the Progressives? A bona fide Socialist, Bernie Sanders. Or someone could come out of left field. Is there a Bobby Kennedy waiting in the wings.
