The market has climbed a “ wall of worry” and now corporate earnings are starting to catch up , which means a higher Dow.

From Bing. The Dow Jones all-time high of 29,551.42 was reached on Feb. 12, 2020, a result of the longest bull market in history. The biggest cumulative loss suffered by the DJIA was during the Great Depression, when it lost nearly 90% of its value between 1929 and 1932. end quote

Fantastic signs. A rebound I wouldn't think possible. The market has 'voted' in an early election?

From Rasmussen. Daily Presidential Tracking Poll Sponsored by Liberty Nation, Conservative News Where Truth Matters Monday, October 26, 2020, shows that 52% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-six percent (46%) disapprove.

edit. Closed up for brevity and clarity. Tuesday October 27, 2020, Published 4 hours ago/ Karl Rove  breaks down Trump's path  to victory  through Michigan, Pennsylvania,  Wisconsin  /  Trump won all three states by fewer than one percentage point in 2016. "I know from polls that I'm looking at in Arizona, private polls in Arizona [and] North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, that the numbers are tightening," Rove told “The Story”

"Think about it this way, if the president wins every state -- let's take the three Great Lakes states, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin [and] put them to the side for a second. If the president wins any one of the rest of the states he won in 2016 and carries Pennsylvania, he's got 280 electoral votes, ten more than needed," Rove said. "If he carries Wisconsin out of those three states, only Wisconsin, he's got 270," he explained. "If he carries Michigan out of those three states and loses Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, he's got 276, so the path to victory lies in these states."

Went to Trump's rally in Allentown yesterday , sorry to say didn't make the cut off, but had a great and somewhat soggy time with the other overflow folks watching the jumbo-tron :). Bonus, got have lunch and keep my vape :)

Since it was raining we took our umbrella , it is a large golf umbrella in a rainbow pattern, when I grabbed it the thought occurred it may elicit a comment. It turned out I was right , lol. I rather jovial fellow was excited in line and was interacting with the crowd drumming up enthusiasm, at some point he decided to make a fan reel and starting film with his phone.

" Where's the guy with the Pride Umbrella ?!" I laughed and waved he came over to I guess express 'welcome', I explained it wasn't a Pride thing, just a rainbow thing , nobody owns 'the' rainbow, then I called it a Covenant umbrella , the really christian family next to us laughed at that.

It was quite the bunch of nice, but wet people :)

Walking back to the car on the shoulder of the road a fair distance from the crowd, the motorcade went by and even though there were only a few stragglers The President was leaning up against the window beaming and waving back.

Almost forgot about the trip to the venue. We weren’t sure if we could walk from where we parked to the venue , so we used an Uber . Our driver asked where we were going , he didn’t realize the rally was going on. He got really excited when he heard Trump was in town , he took great pains to make sure we understood how much he loved Trump , English is my only language but was his second ,in very broken English he said “I love Trump, I’m an American , I love Trump!”

We told him we’d say Carlos says hello  he said yes please do!

Under President Trump we are freer, better off, and safer. But I remember when Obama was President I constantly worried about personal freedom, lesser prosperity, terror attacks, and America going to war over some other country’s wrong doing. We were in decline.

What will happen when Joe Biden is President? I watched some of his recent photo ops and he can’t speak coherently. He is ushered off the stage by his wife Jill. Kamala gives the next, worst speeches and nobody likes her. It will be four more years of trying to smear and tear apart the America We love and they hate.

Prepare for the worst, hope for the best. Aye, Aye Sir Guy!

I think government under anyone but President Trump will sound more like the Brits in the House of Parliament. I hope our legislature doesn't dissolve into "Boo, hiss, liar!" So bring on those supervised recounts.

Well, if we're gonna go invoking the Brits...

“We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, this Island or a large part of it were subjugated and starving, then our Empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the British Fleet, would carry on the struggle, until, in God's good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old.” - Winston Churchill

And now, just 9 minutes ago, Attorney Lin Wood (counsel for Kyle Rittenhouse) tweeted out the same Churchill quote. (Is he following OL? :D) Anyway... The zeitgeist is changing. It's in the air. People have had enough.

Today is November 11, 2020, right in the middle of the media shit-storm about the 2020 election.

I normally watch videos at a faster rate than normal since I consume so many of them.

But I watched the video below--all of it--at normal speed and I could not take my eyes off it.

There are no words spoken and it is slow. Very, very slow.

It got to me.

Goosebumps. Choked up. Tears.

All of it.

Here's a trailer for a fictional film called "Donald Trump The Chosen" -- I believe a previous cut was released in 2018. The new cut has COVID-19 and, well, the trailer does an adequate job featuring major themes and plot points:

If you want to check out the full version, QAnonAnonymous gave this URL in their podcast shownotes yesterday. There is a copy at DropBox: Donald Trump The Chosen - Full Movie (4K).mp4 (dropbox.com)

Details of cast and crew: DONALD TRUMP THE CHOSEN - The Hollywood Digest

If you don't want to flout copyright watching a purloined or pirated copy, you can rent it at the producer's site, for $4.99: Home | Connected Films

We have had Presidents who served during wars and in those wars. Washington, Jackson, Teddy Roosevelt, Eisenhower, and Kennedy come to mind. But in a different, political sense of combat, President Trump led the troops and his supporters, to defeat the progressive / socialist / American values hating movement, we call the new democratic party. He won so many times during his four years and his legacy will be lasting. He is my hero. I hope Donald J. Trump does run again in four years.  Peter

Peter,

Wonderful sentiments.

Just one thing.

A President can only serve two terms.

In four years, President Trump will have exhausted his term quota and will no longer be eligible to run.

:)

Are you wishin' n' hopin while I say, "show me the beef?' I agree that it isn't over . . . just yet. But I see no definitive evidence to the contrary in the press or the alt press. In the excerpt below, the Monday they are talking about is TODAY. Peter

From The Hill: Biden, Harris to receive first presidential daily briefing on Monday. The briefing is a collection of high-level intelligence information and other materials pertinent to issues of national security prepared for the president by senior officials and advisers. A president-elect typically begins receiving the briefings in the weeks before they are inaugurated to ensure a smooth transition process and protect the nation's interests at home and abroad. The White House reportedly signed off on the briefings for Biden last week . . . .

Today I was listening for a few minutes to Mark Steyn filling in for Rush Limbaugh. He was saying Dominion, the vote counting system, is made in Canada but is not used for Canadian elections. And he was saying it will be proved there was election fraud in America. He gets downright angry at times. Whoa Mark!  Was that a rumble of thunder I heard or just a drone flying over? But I see it reported President Trump is investigating the vote in Arizona too. The crucial day of December 17th is fast approaching, so the Electoral College will pick someone in 17 days, not counting today. Peter

Notes. Arizona secretary of state certifies election results with Biden winning state's 11 electoral votes by Andrew Oxford Arizona Republic. end quote

Mark Steyn is a Canadian conservative author and commentator. He has written several books, including the New York Times bestsellers America Alone: The End of the World As We Know It and After America: Get Ready for Armageddon. He has guest-hosted the nationally syndicated Rush Limbaugh Show, as well as the Tucker Carlson Tonight on Fox News, on which he regularly appears as a guest. end quote

For those who will savour forty-five minutes of a man on his game; Bartiromo asked a couple of 'hard questions' but mostly let President Trump fire at will.  From Factba.se.

(295) Interview: Maria Bartiromo Interviews Donald Trump on Fox News - November 29, 2020 - YouTube

Of course there has been less-than-fawning reaction to this appearance, but who cares about what "enemies" have to say, right?

Well “felt” Ellen. Want to bet a hundred bucks? I say it is not a tossup election. If you predict the winner I will pay you a hundred bucks. Trump or Biden? Peter
