Merry Xmas President Rubio too and Happy Chanukah Mr. Adelson

Marc:

I don't think Adelson got your memo Marc...

Las Vegas casino magnate Sheldon Adelson, and his wife, Miriam, have each donated $2,700 — the maximum amount allowed by law — to GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz's campaign, according to reports filed late Sunday with the Federal Election Commission.

However, Adelson has not endorsed a candidate yet for the 2016 campaign, reports The Wall Street Journal, and he is also expressing interest in Florida Sen. Marco Rubio.

Adelson, who is the chairman of Las Vegas Sands Corp., spent more than $100 million in 2012 supporting Republican campaigns and leading GOP candidates to seek his money for their 2016 races.

But Adelson and his wife have already donated the maximum $2,700 amount to another

candidate — South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham. Back in 2012, he and his family donated $15 million into a super PAC supporting former House Speaker Newt Gingrich's bid for the GOP nomination.

When Gingrich lost, Adelson told The Wall Street Journal that he doesn't "cry when I lose. There's always a new hand coming up."

pretty cocky post pal considering for months you have refused to even call a winner for the nominee , now on the eve of you realizing that I am right - you decided to go into the archives here to find me stating that SA will support Rubio . Your best evidence though is that he gave Cruz $2700 ?

Well , that is around an hours interest on his $40 billion so don't get too excited yet papi , also please remember that this thread is about who will win the POTUS , not who SA threw some chump change at .

Stay on point

Not at all.

I suggest you look at my prediction today wherein I specifically said that this particular primary State was too difficult to predict this year.

I do not guess. I am a political professional.

I have a lot of folks who know the game and no one saw any evidence of The Donald's ground game. Lesson learned for The Donald.

They did not rent vans, or, have taxi fleets to get folks to the caucus and very little organized door to door efforts.

That was in my e-mail today...there were no archives...if you wish, I will forward the e-mail to you backstage.

Also Marc, you are too smart to offer an "after this, therefore because of this" argument which is a fallacy.

I posted it just to poke you. His donation meant nothing, however it did seem to piss you off lol.

Now the politics start , and it all comes down to Iowa .

Scenerios :

Trump does not win - Then yeah , NH falls that fast .

Trump does win and Marco gets a very surprised second to Trump then everyone starts to fall in line with our next President . Then Marco simply runs the table come March

Cruz wins a close race and Marco gets third . NH starts slipping a way and Marco gets steam and they all rally to him and runs the table

Cruz wins big . Trump pulls out

Marco wins , everyone pulls out basically .

Trump wins , wins NH , wins SC and Nevada , well the war gets real serious and March becomes the month that it is literally the entire party rallies with Rubio in Custards last stand . Not sure about the analogy there cause up here they don't teach anything about Custard , they just love teaching about the war of 1812

I know , I know !!!!!!! Who is so freaking narcissistic to even quote his own post ????????

Nonetheless , I guess my scenarios #1 and #3 were the results so ............

Cruz cannot win the nomination , we all agree there ( maybe not but we should ) , Trump is done .

President Carson ?

President Fiorino ?

President Bush ?

President Christie ???

President Rand ( no pun intended but hey ) ?

POTUS

Marco Rubio , and they said Iowa was not important

Damn

Well...

Hmmmmph...

Rubio did impress me today.

I hope he's not a sore loser for the rest of the primaries...

Michael

my man !!!!!!

You were literally the only one in the world to even predict Trump getting this far . You called it , and its documented right here . Trump has changed US polltics forever with his mastery of the media , and more so social media . This brilliant campaign so far has gotten 5.4 million Twitter followers and he has literally brought back my favourite words " We The People " to show what people power can do .

Really , I mean it when I say that this will be studied for 100 years what DT has done , and how he has literally changed the game for US politics forever . Obama did it in '08 , Trump did it single handedly this campaign .

Its President Rubios turn to wear the crown though , and he shall .

DTs strongest negotiating moment is now , today . It only gets weaker from here to NH , then SC and Nevada .

Deal time my friends , realtime .

Cruz won by a few points today in the State that he had to win , congrats to him but its over . He went to 99 precincts and won by a few points ??????

Rubio is looking at Super Tuesday for the sweep and if he goes against BS he wins 50 States , if he goes against HC then he wins 40 + .

My concern is the Supreme Court , and we cannot afford HC or BS naming judges .

Marc:

You did notice that The Donald gets 7 delegates as does Rubio.

Cruz get's 8, so essentially Rubio and The Donald did equally well.

Post Script:

I have been on The Donald's wagon at the same time our mutual leader made his choice clear.

Adam,

"Winning Iowa" in this sense is mostly symbolic. As is third place (Rubio). In terms of delegates, Cruz has one more delegate that Trump. Rubio surprised me for getting an equal number as Trump.

So even in third place, Rubio showed momentum. That's the real win tonight. (I don't know if it will continue, but it is real for now.)

I expect Cruz to fall drastically during the rest of the primaries (with a state here or there as exception) and it will go into a two-man race between Trump and Rubio. I agree with Marc that Rubio will have the establishment machine behind him and they will throw the kitchen sink at Trump.

Let's just hope that Cruz has sense enough to endorse Trump when the time comes to leave the race.

Coming down from this initial victory could be bitter and with Glenn Beck constantly honking in his ear that Trump is Satan incarnate (Beck outright said Trump is setting up his own Brown Shirts and is worse than Obama, see here  ) and that he is God's Chosen One, he might be tempted to do something stupid.

Michael:

Agreed.

I was surprised as he closed on second place.

The Donald should learn a solid lesson on the "ground game" which is where elections are won.

As to Glenn, I caught something today on his station where he was talking about a "movie" or video of some seaside community that The Donald wanted for a development and he said it was "proof" of how evil The Donald was. He is obsessed with this and therefore dangerous.
