The thread is dead! The thread is dead! A glorious affirmation of the impotence of evil!
--Brant
and the passive-aggressive
dancing on the anti-life music grave!
James Taggart runs out screaming
Sheesh, the thread fell into a brief coma and, suddenly, everyone thinks it's dead. Good thing I work the graveyard shift.
Somehow I don't think the hot chick in the video is a christian woman!
There ya go Brant Evil lives!
It's ALIVE!!!! Mua ha ha!!!
Not at all what I expected, and I'm pleasantly surprised.
Just an echo.
--Brant
until Kyle comes back from Rebirth off Reason, you have no chance
This thread belongs to anyone willing to take up the banner. How does one mistake a thunderclap for an echo?
Just holding the torch for him Brant!
Thanks Jules.
The torch burns all those who hold it, but with the charring comes illumination. A fair trade, in my opinion.

Can you elaborate?
So that is the sound of a can of worms being opened.

Jeeze Kyle you are going to give the poor man cartoon acid flashback nightmares!
He's a toughie. He's lasted this long; he can take some punishment.
Everybody posting on this thread is a sicko!
--Frankie
How about something a little more wholesome and tasteful?

I believe I posted this song in an earlier post, but I didn't post the video. This one's for you, Brant!
When I first saw this video, the "flashing" sequence (beginning at 0:09) amazed me. I was astonished by how much the animators had improved their work. And it fits perfectly with the song, too.

The lead vocalist from Sliversun Pickups reminds me of Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins.

Here's another song that was played ad nauseam in 2011.
I rather like it.
-
First heard this one while exercising in 2009. It was nice.
-
Back in 2011, a couple Muse songs were played ad nauseam. This song was one of them. I remember hearing it over and over while driving my trash route.
Today, I heard it for the first time in years while driving to work. And I have to say, it's a rather good song.
-
Generally, I'm not a fan of raw screams, but I think they were used well in this song.
-
Thanks Jules! Judas Priest were easily one of the forerunners to the modern power-metal bands/vocalists. Without Judas Priest, I'm afraid, many of the great bands today may not have existed.
I know I've primarily posted older music in this thread. I've neglected some of the newer music. And there is new and good music. Surprise. Surprise.
Here's a song I recently discovered thanks to an old medium, the radio.

Happy Birthday Michael!
There's something to be said about a man who puts up with my shenanigans. If only I knew what it was...
-
This one's for you, jts. I haven't read it yet, but I'll get to it later. It just showed up in my Facebook news feed and I thought it would be nice to share here.

The Multicultural Mashup strikes back:
(Wicked is as wicked does.)
Michael
It's good to be king.
Right, Michael?

Look for another cry out to ban guns.
Don't forget about the Feminists.
Any good, wannabe statist needs a good crises every now and then.

Gee, Kyle, I thought you were "not looking."
--Brant
Arrangements can be made. Especially if the angel wears a dress and doesn't speak with a lisp.

They used to play that song on a local radio station so I looked it up! LMAO!
A lot of interesting songs are first aired on the radio. Especially on Halloween.
This one's for you Brant. I know how much you like your music videos.
-
Lol, Jules. How did you ever find that video?

I know that this thread's title has scare quotes around "anti-life," but I thought that I'd post something that is truly anti-life, no scare quotes needed:
Consuming that much condensed saccharine in one sitting can kill you.

I need some Spiderbait to counter-act this evil.

For Brant:

Kyle writes:
Read a book, play my guitar, play with my dogs...
So far, so good...
Oh, oh... with what? No electricity, no natural gas. Markets already completely looted in a day. No food. No water.learn how to cook
Greg
Never cooked over an open fire?

Read a book, play my guitar, play with my dogs, learn how to cook, read a cookbook, play with my cat, argue with family over food, watch family leave for new utopia, read the back of my shampoo bottles, watch my dogs waste away, learn how to cook my dogs, start new social networking service, watch new social networking service fail without electricity, riot, read my own mind, build shrine out of dog bones, worship shrine, watch days go by, watch electricity go back on, thank dog god, realize I ate my own dogs, browse Facebook.

Korn is surprisingly on their game.
Any fans of "anti-life" music out there?

This song is this fun to play.
I need to learn how to play it on the guitar.
