  1. Bob, On the links we keep posting that you don't go to. Michael Refusing the information means you can't be part of the conversation. Dennis
  2. Then you withdraw any claims concerning entropy and the 2nd law of thermodynamics as well - since you no longer have boundary conditions to assume the 2nd law applies. I know the surface of a 3 sphere of finite dimension is topologically unbounded. So I will not withdraw a thing. If physical space time is a manifold that is homeomorphic to a four sphere (I don't know that it is) it is unbounded. It is possible that space-time is bounded. It is possible that space time is unbounded. There exist pseudo Riemanian manifolds of both kinds. We don't have empirical data to decide the question. Write us when we have empirical data to resolve the question. Otherwise you should hold your peace. I am not withdrawing a damned thing. Ba'al Chatzaf So on faith you want to assume the 2nd law of thermodynamics applies without any empirical data to support boundary conditions where it would apply. Dennis
  3. Okay. I guess we shall see, right? If it turns out to be true... roger that. Score one for Beck. But if it doesn't, what will you say? Will you selectively disregard it as a mere "near miss" and go on to believe the next package of fear he tries to sell you? Or will you insist that it was, in fact, a hit... but one that was covered up by the government? What rationale will you employ? Beck has already scored on this one - the only remaining questions are details of the cover-up and if the Saudi terrorist student was directly, indirectly, or not at all involved in the Boston bombing as well. The rest of the media has failed in their most basic task. The drip, drip, drip will tell the rest of the story on how big the story is. It is already big enough that Janet Napolitano should be removed from office immediately for perjury. Dennis The initial assessment was that the Saudi student was involved in the Boston bombing as well. The FBI was thrown under the bus by Napolitano on that one. We know other information about the student was covered up and attempts were made to destroy the paper trail - either the FBI is incompetent or the Saudi [known terrorist] student was involved in the bombing and that is one more aspect of the cover up and destruction of paper trail and evidence. What is more interesting to me is what was discussed on The Wilkow Majority radio program. An analyst was talking about how Obama has systematically destroyed many tens of thousands of intelligence reports on various Muslims - wiping essential trails of evidence for future investigations. Also interesting the policies of PC editing of intelligence reports as they move from place to place up the chain and across agencies - rendering many useless. Dennis

  5. You have a very broadband filter which removes information content when attempting to filter fearmongering. You might want to think about that a little. If I only listened to physicists who supported hard determinism my broadband filter would find no news other than what I post. Dennis
  6. Then you withdraw any claims concerning entropy and the 2nd law of thermodynamics as well - since you no longer have boundary conditions to assume the 2nd law applies. I have no problem with that. I assume an infinite universe in size - large and small and an infinite universe in temporal duration past and future. That assumption has observational consequences but can never be proven. If you assume a finite universe of defined size there are observational consequences as well. You cannot prove or disprove the possible existence of other finite universes or an infinite universe outside of that observation [many modern cosmologies assume that is in fact the case]. So there we are, I assume something I can't prove but observation can support. You don't know if it is infinite or not and you base that on empirical facts. Facts which still have to be processed through a theory to determine if they support an infinite or finite view. Dennis
  7. Yes and that dirt under the rug is that the administration gave special permission for a known terrorist to enter the country and turned him loose without being watched - then tried to cover up that fact when it came to light. Dennis
  8. http://www.mediabistro.com/fishbowldc/incest-desk-daily-callers-tucker-carlson-uncovers-media-matters-in-bed-with-white-house-msnbc-and-certain-scribes_b64879 If KacyRay has not been watching Beck on video since the beginning of his Fox News days then he really cannot have any concept of what Beck is about or what he has done. Like another poster here and 2-3 I know of on Atlantis_II shutting yourself off from information does not impress. It indicates living in an echo chamber with the silo problem of information travel [siloing information between agencies being the trick the administration recreated for political purposes and blame game tactics]. Dennis
  9. No The extended answer is yes - the government document said he was tied to the bombing but they gave no detail as to why. Dennis The further extended answer is that the administration threw the FBI under the bus saying his connection to the bombing was a mistake. Someone from the administration then went in and edited the reports, then they tried to delete the report, then the classified the report. Apparently whistleblowers have given all of this and the electronic traffic to Beck and Beck has shared with reporters at other networks - two networks blocked the story from being reported. Fox Radio started to report it then took it back off. What the evidence is they took 9 hours to collect plus 5 hours interviewing his roommates we may never know. We only know of the first reports and the cover up after that. Dennis

  11. Just like after Benghazi the administration is putting forth the smokescreen of throwing one intelligence agency after another under the bus. Beck mentioned earlier today that the FBI was thrown under the bus. Tonight on Special Report with Bret Baier in the discussion panel the administration's story was repeated that agencies weren't talking to each other. A little more thinking and listening to Beck and The Blaze would have let them know that Obama was behind erasing thousands of files on Islamic radicals and the deadlines for information that expired - (using Janet Napolitano's excuse) plus the forced usage of PC language in intelligence reports which cleans out the useful information as it is passed from agency to agency [as a analyst reported today on The Wilkow Majority radio show]. The intelligence agencies are moving towards less capability to work between agencies than it had before 911 - all because of Obama's interference and PC policies. Now the story is the bombs were sophisticated and required training to make - agreeing with what was said earlier in the week by Beck/WIlkow's guests with IED experience. Fox News still dropping the ball on the Saudi student and Saudi government cover-up showing the administration's special handling of preferred terrorists being allowed into the country to run wild. Dennis
  12. Glen Beck today mentioned a story on Bret Baier's blog where he repeated the government's story on the Saudi student. Glen said he hoped Bret has something else going on we don't know about - he is smarter than that. Tonight Bret Baier was reporting on how Hillary Clinton and the Benghazi attack - he goes to a Fox News Poll which said: 39% believe she read the cable requesting more security 39% she didn't see the cable 11% no big deal then he reported Jay Carney said she did not see the cable. A little problem - there were multiple requests for more security over an extended period of time. Hillary Clinton signed the cable they are talking about - then reduced the security - as reported this morning from the congressional report on The Blaze news. How about less polling and more reporting the information in the congressional report. Dennis
  13. Another good point on The Wilkow Majority - when Mrs. Obama met with the Saudi student the Secret Service had to already know he was on the terrorist watch and no fly list and considered to be armed and dangerous. She met with the "student" after the Saudi big dog met with President Obama. A security analyst said that had the appearance of a gesture to Saudi Arabia. Dennis
  14. From The Wilkow Majority - the documents have now been made secret after the attempt to delete them failed. The Saudi student was described as armed and dangerous in the original documents, on the terrorist watch list plus no-fly. Dennis
  15. I had a philosophy/physics course in 1982-1983 where it was discussed. Dennis
  16. Mark, I know that's a quip, but of course Bob has a mind. He denies it, but has a beautiful one. Just like you do. Michael Though I hate repeating the same arguments over and over Bob is actually in good company. Few people have more interesting things to say, he is correct on many things, and some of the best people at Atlantis_II also refused information sources and I never could understand why on them either. Dennis
  17. That is the two main claims - both of which seem to stem from the same set of documents. The more damning part is the electronic trail of the cover-up where the administration attempted to destroy the documents and a series of differing false stories were fed congress and the media as they kept altering or destroying documents. It seems the inside whistleblowers have all the documents before and after alternation and the electronic trail of who did the alternations and when to be matched to the timeline of changing stories. Dennis
  18. I like that Beck is sitting on a bunch more information and intends to let it drip drip drip according to how the Obama administration reacts. He has warned journalists this will blow up in their faces if they don't get involved. He has warned government officials this will cause some to lose their jobs and things will only get worse if they don't do the right thing. Beck did say today that his normal advice "not to believe him, but to do their own homework instead" cannot be done on some of this information because some of it is not publicly available yet. It has been leaked by 10+ sources in the government and he needs to protect those sources even as the Obama administration attempts to destroy them, destroy the information itself, hide witnesses, intimidate the media, misinform the media, and continue to protect whatever involvement with Saudi Arabia they are attempting to cover up. Bigger than Watergate level stuff [more like 1930's Germany] where people have lied and people died and only the tip of the iceberg is apparent at this time. Dennis
  19. The states need to take back the 10th amendment. The feds are way out of control. Dennis
  20. I have a hard time discussing information with people who purposefully cut themselves off from information. Dennis Do you call Glenn Beck horsesh*t information? I guess I will discuss information from all sources while you discuss a limited set of information with those who want to only discuss limited sets of information. Dennis
  21. With all those old starts dying how do we get new ones? And if the cosmos is a closed system and entropy increases, if the cosmos is eternal why is it not totally disordered? As has been discussed several times before... We get new stars because matter and energy are recycled both through conventional recycling and through non-linear QM entanglement recycling. Even our own sun produces extended streams of pure hydrogen at speeds where it leaves the galaxy to recollect between galaxies - thus materials for nearly pristine new galaxies form again. The cosmos is not a closed system and the 2nd law of thermodynamics does not apply. Dennis What is outside the cosmos? Word games won't change the definitions of boundary conditions in thermodynamics - I suggest you look into it so we don't have to keep having this dead end discussion every few months. The 2nd law of thermodynamics does not apply to a spatially and temporally infinite universe. Dennis You have not demonstrated either deductively in inductively (by experiment) that the Cosmos is infinite. Furthermore you have not provided a method which -in principle- could potentially falsify you assumption. Try again. 22. From NRA-ILA on Tuesday: Last night, the Missouri Senate unanimously approved House Bill 8, a funding measure that transfers to Missouri sheriffs the authority for issuance of Right-to-Carry permit certificates and the permits themselves from the Missouri Department of Revenue (DOR). As previously reported, there have been several reports that the DOR was collecting and sharing personal documents from individuals receiving a concealed carry endorsement with third parties, including the federal government. This recordkeeping and sharing of private documents by the DOR is a serious violation of public trust. Please contact your state Senator and thank him or her for voting for HB 8, an important measure to protect your right to privacy. HB 8 will now be sent back to the state House for a concurrence vote. Not only is the Missouri Legislature taking swift action to remove DOR’s role in the permit issuing process, they are also acting on legislation that would prohibit the DOR from sharing personal information with the federal government or other agencies. House Bill 787 and Senate Bill 252 seek to limit the DOR’s ability to scan, store and share your private information. HB 787, sponsored by state Representative Todd Richardson (R-152), has been assigned to the Senate Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and SB 252, sponsored by state Senator Will Kraus (R-8), has been assigned to the House Government Oversight Committee. While HB 787 and SB 252 are currently awaiting a committee hearing, please contact members of these committees TODAY in support of legislation that would protect your privacy rights. ***** Good deal they took it away from the state level that cannot be trusted. Good news from Kansas: http://tenthamendmentcenter.com/2013/04/17/kansas-governor-signs-second-amendment-protection-act/ Extra good because the law depends on what the state of Kansas agreed to when it became a state - not later BS created by the feds.
