  1. Maria Montessori may have written some books, for educating at home, the age group you are seeking.
  2. Thank you Michael for posting the info. Yaron's message will be seen by many. I will post the url of the Beck-Yaron interview wherever I can. Some may wake up. That's a good thing! I favor, among many other things, doing a George Patton blitz on the internet with more articles, plus more audio & video pertaining to individual/ property rights/ capitalism. Posting on sites such as Yahoo, My Space, You Tube, reaches millions. Great ideas deserve great marketing. And all the time.
  3. May I join you all for a drink? AR would too, after throwing up.
  4. Does anyone know if that broadcast will be repeated or shown on-line? Thank you.
  5. Barbara, it breaks my heart. As bad as I remember the Vietnam era was, with its "Great Society", the draft ( I was drafted), the "hippie" culture, the current state of affairs seems considerably worse. Do you think if AR were alive today she would have continued writing, or just shrug?
  6. The proponents of this bill waved carrots. A lot of people seek the unearned.
  7. WASHINGTON - The stimulus package Congress passed last night imposes new limits on executive compensation that could significantly curb multimillion dollar pay packages on Wall Street and goes much further than restrictions proposed by the Obama administration last week. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29192298/ Our Politburo and its Czar move quickly. What a disgrace. Depressing.
  8. Sad. I remember when Kobe Bryant was accused, but not convicted of raping a hotel employee, Nutella cancelled their advertising contract.
  9. Sounds good Michael. It would be a good addition to this fine site.
  10. I ran across this site, which looks interesting: http://randex.org/index.php
  11. One's "stuff" to sell can also be a "service", not just products. I've successfully sold both and the basic principles of marketing apply to each. Best wishes on your venture, Michael.
  12. In 1971 or 72, in college at that time, I drove from NYC to the Ford Hall Forum in Boston to attend an AR lecture entitled "The Anti-Industrial Revolution" Yes, it is hard to believe how much time (and quickly) has gone by.
  13. Some thoughts: Must be really tough getting the financing, too. The banks are now controlled even more with the new leftist administration. I'd like to see AS produced for t.v. as an 8 hr. series. One might also consider extending it as a continuing weekly drama series. Showing how the collapsed society in AS rebuilds, without interference, from the ground up. It would be joyous! Promote, direct and show it with the same excitement as the current "24" aired once a week in Prime Time. (I enjoy that show).
  14. Adam, We can stem the tide towards collectivism, in part, by getting rid of the left's young potential recruits by educating them -those in H.S. and colleges. It is they that will be in the voting pool a few years down the road. It is they that need to be educated in individual/ property rights and the joys and morality of capitalism. The left is mass manufacturing a substantial amount of their drones in the schools.
  15. Michael "I am glad he is betraying the left who helped elect him. I think it's "beautiful." I'm not convinced of that. Of course, seeing is believing.
  16. Vegas: You might like the interactive part under connections LOL http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/a23bf7b4-e65f-11...00779fd2ac.html Adam Thanks for the link. I liked the interactive feature. Brings out the stench that will be "governing" .
  17. What a disgrace. This great country, founded and built mainly on the concepts of capitalism and respect for individual/ property rights has elected a vile Marxist. With a resume that includes "community agitator" as his main achievement, Obama has filled his Administration with Chicago thu-gs, Clinton re-threads and radical leftists. The damage they will do to our economy with their agenda will be significant.
  18. I am going to pin this one. I expect to comment on an article from there at times. What a joy! Many, many thanks (you know who you are). Michael Looks like another quality resource to explore. Thank you Michael.
  19. Re: osteoarthritis This looks promising. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2009/...90112201135.htm
  20. lol. I don't play craps but I hear you. The more I'm on that site the more "favorites" I develop.
  21. The amount and diversity of the sciences on this site is impressive. Right now I'm researching the Mac O/S. Have a good day.
  22. I thought I'd post this site's web address. Some quality articles in the various fields of Science. www.sciencedaily.com
