Pence seemed obsessed with his religion and his unyielding financial support for the Ukraine.

I happy to see him fade into unimportance.

I also support Mark on many of his takes. It's his religious beliefs that I don't agree with. AR was right when she said conservatives don't know how to promote capitalism...that it needs to be advocated on moral grounds. Sure it's the most prosperous system & it's argued in that vein, but it is the only system (laissez-faire capitalism) that recognizes and supports individual/ property rights. What we have now, of course, is a mixture of freedoms and controls.

A couple of years ago I was listening to his radio program and a listener called in to ask him why he doesn't bring up Ayn Rand.

His reply was he does on occasion and said when she's right she's right on. He didn't get specific. I've never seen any of AR's quotes in any of the books he's written that I've looked at.

I'm not Byrne and never heard of him before. He did write the other 2 articles. I suspect he may know Yarron Brook, since he quotes him quite a bit.

I'm surprised Fox, who are leaning left day by day, permits favorable articles on AR.

What's your take on it?

Perhaps unknown to many is that AR had a sense of humor. As I posted here a long time ago I was in attendance for a speech (The Anti-Industrial Revolution)she gave at the Ford Hall Forum during the early '70s. During the question & answer period someone in the audience asked her to elaborate on a passage from Atlas Shrugged. He said he didn't quite understand it. AR replied " if you don't understand my writing you certainly won't understand my speaking" (she was obviously referring to her heavy Russian accent) The audience broke out in laughter.
