Ed Hudgins
We at The Atlas Society Hope You're Celebrating the Season! Dear Friend of The Atlas Society: All of us at TAS, your center for Objectivism, thank you for your support during the past year. We express our hope that you are celebrating at this festive time of year.We know that the economy is in rough shape and that the political prognosis for next year is not promising. But the joy we take in our lives ultimately comes from our own efforts and our own virtues.Joy comes from our rationality, our choice to seek the truth and to use our minds as our tool to that end.Joy comes from our productivity, our recognition of our need to create the physical and spiritual means for our own survival and well- being. And joy comes from our self-esteem, our acceptance of our own lives and happiness as the worthy goal of our actions. While our lives might have setbacks, we reject the notion that this world is a vale of tears. At this time of year we share our joy with family and friends and, in doing so, affirm life as a celebration. So we hope you have a wonderful holiday season and we look forward to a productive, profitable, and enlightening association with you in the future!
