F L Light
From a manuscript of more than 1000 antiphonal couplets on inside-outside antitheses this sequence is excerpted. "Outset" and "exordium" are synonyms. From the Inside Out1Good outcomes from the inside out have comeBut from the outside in are cumbersome. 2The biggest outsets by the mightiest stateOf money are in outcome desolate. 3Good outcomes from the inside out have comeBut from obtrusions nothing good in sum. 4The biggest outsets of amends commenceUtopias but in outcome mean offense. 5Good outcomes from the inside out have come,But no outsider brings the optimum. 6Ominous outsets are outside our lives,As prejudicial as pejoratives. 7Good outcomes from the inside out have come,But outer forces leave the poorest sum. 8Ominous outsets are outside our livesIn governments of morbid negatives. 9Good outcomes from the inside out have come,But outer forces feign a good exordium. 10Outsets are ominously strong outsideAnd over inner nature would preside. 11Good outcomes from the inside out have come,But nature to outsiders may succumb. 12Outsets are ominously large outsideThat with intense obtrusions coincide. 13Our inner constitution is dissolvedIn social centers where the state’s involved. 14Outsets are ominously large outsideWith larger interventions of liberticide. 15Our inner constitution is undone,Which wars on substances have overrun.
