And I don't think it's derogatory either--the point is that Pierce only likes the book because it is thick. Implication: he was expected to be appreciating it intellectually.It seems a bit forced. Not that I'm not pleased! I suspect the cartoonist likes Rand and wants to prepare ground for the upcoming movie.
