The primary cause of this mess is the destruction of the role of the black male in providing for his family thanks to the welfare state foisted off on him starting big time with The Great Society of LBJ in the mid-1960s. But he kept fathering children and they went feral while he hung with his home-boys, frequently in prison. Instead of entering the middle-class and "acting white" you have more and more stupid reproducing while the smarter blacks are too smart to do that, except when their own fewer children hit public education their racial peers accuse them of "acting white" so they get stupid too. For whites, generally speaking, the welfare state is for old people. They've already, pre-welfare, had productive lives and families so the only thing their welfare does is make them vote for folk who'll get their goodies coming. They're "conservative" too, so they support their local police keeping the peace in the ghetto and if any boys from the hood drive through their suburbia it's an automatic 911.

Black folks and other minorities are the -objects- of statist progressive liberal concern but not a beneficiary. It is fortunate for Jews in America that they never received the tender loving "kindness" of liberal, which is one of the reasons they amounted to something. Jews had to hack and dig out a place for themselves in American (in spite of low calorie anti-semitism). Before black folks became the object and target of progressive liberal care they were in the process of hacking out a place for themselves. There used to be black business, black capitalists who got what they got the "hard way". They -earned- it. Unfortunately that is not longer much the case. A shunned minority has to look inward for support, to the family, or to others of their own kind. That helps strengthen familial and communal bonds which are important to success. Conversely, a minority that is lavished with unearned gifts learns to look outward for support to the majority group. That, in turn, weakens the family and ties to other members of the community.

Ties to other community members are important for developing business connections. Jews have been a persecuted minority for centuries in Europe and have become highly successful business people. Other minority groups serve as the trader class in other societies. I highly recommend Thomas Sowell's book, "Black Rednecks and White Liberals," in which he discusses many such relationships and surprising facts about all kinds of ethnic groups.

If a person knows they could be filmed but still do the violent action they are beyond reason. Whenever I see a rioter do something that could get a police officer, a shop or business owner, or just an innocent bystander hurt or killed it should be permissible for a ANY person to stop them from that action even if it results in the death of the perpetrator. Minimal force if possible should be used but if a bullet is necessary, so be it.

I am not advocating something like what happened in China's Tiananmen Square or in Cairo but I think rioters, not protesters, should be stopped in their tracks. Or in the case of rioting Klansmen, stopped in their trucks. It is interesting that the Klan was peacefully protesting. The Klan was successfully de-mobbed by the Feds when all funds collected by the violent Klan were taken by the government back in the 1980's and maybe the 90's.

I wouldn't have any problem shooting down some of these looters in defense of my property, not even knowing I could never come back to use it again. I'm not talking about any legality, but the psychological effect on me. I couldn't roam up and down the streets shooting them, but if they came to me they'd be dead. Of course, they'd probably stay away on my display of a 12 guage pump, AR-16 and handgun shouldered across my chest. I'd also likely already have the appropriate reputation. I'll never understand why the LA cops cut and ran leaving the streets to the gangs in 1993. They should have started shooting--to kill.

The Army’s Military Intelligence Division (MID) continued to play a key role in domestic surveillance operations between its creation in 1917 and 1921 by monitoring the racial situation. It amassed vast quantities of information on racial disturbances and the black community at large. MID’s reports, however, tended to indicate more about prevailing American racial attitudes, especially those of its own officers, than about the causes and possible solutions of the race problem.

Soon after the war, MID relied on two specialists on blacks in America, whose reports were subsequently read widely by military officials faced with racial disorders. Maj. Elbert Cutler, a white man with a doctorate from Yale, had a deep interest in sociology, then an emerging academic field. The MID director, Brig. Gen. Marlborough Churchill, described him as an “absolutely impartial expert in sociology.” Cutler’s colleague was Maj. W.H. Loving, a black man who had served honorably in the Philippine Constabulary. General Churchill portrayed him as one of the best types of “white man’s negro.”

Cutler outlined his views in a 1919 memorandum entitled “The Negro Situation.” From Cutler’s point of view, a clear link existed between radicalism and the new black activism. “The doctrines preached by IWW agitators and radical socialists,” he warned, “are daily winning new converts among the negroes.” To him, black insistence on equal rights was a dangerously radical concept, and the NAACP a source of insidious propaganda. Hence, he believed it was a great mistake to allow the “negroes to arm themselves.” Though Cutler, for all his education, viewed racial matters in the same way as many of his fellow soldiers and other less educated whites, he did hold a few progressive ideas. He deplored lynching, terming it a national disgrace, and believed that police forces in communities containing sizable black populations should exercise complete neutrality in upholding the law: “It is essential that a police department be alive to the importance of giving proper protection to both whites and colored when they are conducting themselves as law-abiding citizens and that an even-handed control be exercised over whites and colored who are inclined toward antagonistic conduct.” The trust of his thinking aimed at the maintenance of law and order and interracial peace. He disapproved of social equality but accepted the need for legal equality, provided it supported the status quo.

Major Loving wrote the “Final Report on Negro Subversion” on the eve of his retirement in August 1919. in it he offered a thorough survey of the principal black newspapers, organizations, and personalities of the time, including DuBois’ NAACP and Marcus Garvey’s Universal Negro Improvement Association. Emphasizing the theme of radicalism, Loving supported the notions of his white colleagues and countrymen. He emphasized that “until about four years ago radical sentiment among Negroes was of a moderate character and confined to resentment of lynching, disfranchisement, Jim Crowism, etc.” The turning point, he argued, came in 1915 when young blacks flocked to the “torch of Socialism.” The growth in popularity of socialism among blacks was rapidly creating a crisis, according to Loving, shown in IWW recruitment of “thousands of Negro laborers.”

White people are told to stay out of a Michael Brown rally. We self segregate and we stay away from where we are not wanted when we are free to do as we wish.
