  1. Clinton: Nothing I sent or received was marked classified Watch the latest video at video.foxnews.com ---------- Her use of language, "nothing I sent was marked classified, or received was marked classified" is bogus. She is trained to identify what is or isn't classified and is trusted to handle that information accordingly. What worries me is she keeps repeating the line, and this indicates her defense is being built around it. It's going to get dodgy with words; I'm hearing an echo of Bill saying, "it depends on what the meaning of the word is is."
  2. Agreed. Trump has expressed in words the Objectivist concept "all knowledge is contextual". Trump was right in his context, he receives new information and adjusts accordingly with new integrations, conclusions, propositions, judgments, etc, etc. The anti-Trumpeters see a circumstantial ad-hominem, I see a man who understands that all knowledge is contextual. Now there is a question about Trump, does he have a solid epistemological base to begin with? Ru ru Rubio mentioned this in the last debate, that Trump might not have the "intellectual curiosity with the issues this nation is confonting." But for me, it is difficult to tell if this isn't or is the case, or to what degree this might or might not be true. Trump speaks in essentials, and many times Trump doesn't express his knowledge when attacked, the correct response. As a businessman, it's clear he wouldn't have the same degree of context of a career politician, but that wouldn't negate him from acquiring it. I'd place a bet (my vote) that a man that knows that all knowledge is contextual and its implications (and other factors I'm not listng here) has a good method of logic for acquiring knowledge, and acquiring it fast. Go Trump
  3. Trump wasn't trying to appeal to the intellectual crowd with the hands commentary, he was appealing to those men who view endowment as a symbol of power--and that mindset is out there, there are MANY of them. There are more men voting with that kind of mindset than intellectuals. Trump was speaking to a demographic with the exchange, was a smart move. And the follow-up is trending as well:
  4. Awesome video, can't wait for tonight's debate
  5. Atlashead, Have you read Rand's Age of Envy article? Might be of interest given the above
  6. MSK, This is very well said. I consider Trump's choice of persuasion to be recognition of reality. The culture today behaves and communicates in a certain way: Trump is looking out, seeing existence exists, making inductions on the people he sees, and uses persuasion to communicate with them. If you want to know the man, look at his accomplishments--his purpose, his attention to detail, his high standards. Persuasion is a tool he uses to accomplish things, to get people together, to get things done. It would be a mistake to expect to see Trump as a meek, eager politician begging for alms. Trump is a businessman, stern first, and nice later (if he chooses). If he were nice first, being stern later won't work. Go Trump
  7. Maybe John Oliver should check his heritage for court fools, he certainly plays the part.
  8. Romney entering the race talk around 6:40 in this video: Watch the latest video at video.foxnews.com Blah, still think it's nonsense but here it is for the beliebers
  9. Fox, CNN, and MSNBC are trying to push this Trump not condemning/disavowing the KKK as quick as they'd like. My memory served up a similar happening to Romney, and after a some digging here is the reference: http://www.mediaite.com/tv/msnbc-reports-mitt-romney-used-ku-klux-klan-rallying-cry-keep-america-american/
  10. MSK, Alex Jones' claim to fame is conspiracy theories.. I don't see this Romney business as anything other than that.
  11. Since god doesn't exist, I guess we'll have to vote for Trump to help us. I guess you can still do a write in though, REB? Seriously though, make no mistake that when Trump is on the stage our country's enemies are watching. Putin, Jong-un, ISIS--when you say "thuggish"--they see someone that will be difficult to take advantage of and manipulate. Trump's attitude is what's appreciated here, which is not the core of him. We have a (partially) morally confused society, and Trump knows how to communicate to many--using both verbals and non-verbals--then bring those people to his side. But that's only part of Trump's demo. Trump's core is American exceptionalism, he has Regan influences, and the cultural necessitations of the 21st century, coupled with a proven sense of life of an individualist with self-esteem that is exemplified by the businesses he has created. Those businesses took purpose and long range planning to create and maintain. Many Oist traits here... Go Trump
  12. This is the highlight of the debate for me, After Cruz drones on with all kinds of logical fallacies in his attacks, Trump gets to speak and calls Cruz and Rubio politicians, that they are "all talk, no action", then proceeds to launch a repeatable zinger at Rubio, calling him a "choke artist", and Cruz, "a liar"--then the best part: after Trump says, "I rest my case," both Cruz and Rubio try to attack Trump, but Trump stands tall, regal, with the two "politicians" making the case for him by their own complaining. He made them look small, like Congressmen.. like Congressmen complaining to a President. Go Trump
  13. Watch the latest video at video.foxnews.com
  14. Hey Peter, next Republican debate is Feb 25th on CNN... Not a Ru Ru Rubio fan as once he got into office in Florida, he did something very different from what he campaigned on--though current polls show much of Bush's supporters are going to Trump, Bush's donors are going to Rubio: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/02/23/former-bush-donors-rally-around-rubio-in-bid-to-take-on-trump.html?intcmp=hpbt1
