  1. Stephen Molyneux interviews William Happer (another Princeton Physics guy): Global warming debunked
  2. I really don't have a problem with recounts or any kind of objective quality control with regard to the election process. I do have a problem with abusing the election process and costing taxpayers millions of dollars to no purpose. If you imagine actually finding wrongdoing in the election process is the goal of the democrat party I think you are very naive or else lying about it. The left has this game down cold and have been honing their skill at it for many decades. I lived in Berkeley and Oakland CA in the 70's and early 80's. I was politically active in the Libertarian party at that time, but had many conversations, discussions, arguments with leftists, including radicals, anarchists, Marxists, socialists and who knows what. My impressions of those years are most Libertarians are well meaning and honest, some are very thoughtful scholars and well read. Leftists of all stripes laugh in delight at the thought of any new nefarious scheme to steal votes. Any means to their end, the ethical sense of sewer rats. They want power, all of it, and are self righteous about it. Libertarians just want to be left alone. Conservatives want peace, prosperity, security, an intact Constitution and otherwise to be left alone.
  3. The moves on the left (recounts, faithless elector reports, lawsuits intended to stop the electoral college and move the "election" to congress) make me wonder what would happen if they actually managed to install Hillary Clinton. I looked it up: If the election is overturned Excerpt: " A huge malaise will fall all over the country as millions of people outside the Democrat strongholds will realize that the vote really does mean nothing, and this country has been sold out to the globalists. Across the country people will not work at any productive level because it doesn’t matter, there is nothing to work for or towards as anything can be taken away—their vote—their jobs. " Yep. Excerpt #2: " At this point in the process, has anyone advocating this recount, or all the other attempts to overturn the election, considered any of the possible implications? Or is their blind lust for power so insatiable, that nothing matters except what they want? I’m not talking about decent Democrats who don’t like the election outcome, but aren’t trying to overturn it. I’m talking about the clandestine operatives who have no purpose other than the acquisition of power, by any means, regardless of what it will do to this country, and all the wonderful people in it who just want their country to work. I really question at this time the motivations of the recount crowd. "

  5. ""I don't train to be 'fit enough' for the modern world, or to gain the esteem of the average modern man.  I train because somewhere in my DNA there's a memory of a more ferocious world, a world where men could become what they are and reach the most terrifyingly magnificent state of their nature.  I don't train to impress the majority of modern slobs.  I train to be worthy enough to *carry water* for my barbarian fathers, and to be worthy of the company of men most like them alive today...""

  9. Technology innovations are quickly going to make it easy, without tollbooths, for private companies to get paid for use of roads, cheaply and conveniently. Technology can now explode the lies of statist's, and their accountants, that all of the needs of citizens cannot be met by private enterprise in a practical way. The arguments that these solutions are not practical are political arguments, nothing more. A master businessman who believes in free market solutions would know better than a professional accountant steeped in decades of memorizing rules. The argument that "it's math" is specious. We need free markets, property rights, sound money, and a low regulatory environment and get the hell out of the way of the innovators.
  10. Right. If actions achieve their stated purpose people can criticize the details all they want. Watch what people do not what they say. Talkers talk, doers do.
  11. My personal impression: Obama still retains all of the power of the presidency until January, the damage he is capable of doing to this country has to be managed very carefully. Obama is a loose cannon, his blind arrogance can only be managed with conciliatory actions to assuage his overwhelming egocentricity until he is out of power. Trump is a master at sizing up and understanding his opponents, no one really understands Trump.
  12. I hadn't heard of the promoting private investors to invest in infrastructure in return for 82% tax free profits. An aside, new technology will make it very easy to make any road into a toll road, your use could easily by charged by the mile without toll booths. Roads and bridges could pay for themselves with little overhead and by private ownership.

  15. Measurement of Impulsive Thrust from a Closed Radio-Frequency Cavity in Vacuum Peer reviewed EM drive paper. The "Impossible" EM drive (violates Newton's law) appears to work. From the discussion: "Pilot-wave theories are a family of realist interpretations of quantum mechanics that conjecture that the statistical nature of the formalism of quantum mechanics is due to an ignorance of an underlying more fundamental real dynamics, and that microscopic particles follow real trajectories over time just like larger classical bodies do." Well, that's a relief.
  16. Obama set new one day record for regulations " President Obama has just set a new record for rules and regulations, his administration spitting out 527 pages worth in just one day, as he races to put his fingerprint on virtually every corner of American life and business. "
  17. NY Sun's Conrad Black: " It awaits the oldest and wealthiest person ever elected to the presidency of the U.S., and the only one of modern times to have paid for his own campaign, and the first since General George Washington to forgo his official salary, to excise a rot in the federal institutions of America that in the grandiosity of its decay has attained a scale worthy of the imperishably great nation it threatens. 21. Well. Here's how the left thinks Trump won the election: Before a single vote was cast, the election was fixed by GOP and Trump operatives.
  22. I like it too. But "Laissez faire!" (hands off!) says the same thing. Obviously not enough, does it always have to come down to somebody getting shot? A liberal acquaintance told me "everybody has their own truth". No, some peoples "truth" leads to disaster, others to thriving. Truth has to be consistent with reality and no one can invent their own reality. Only those who never do a fucking thing can not know this. Don't try to make your fantasy my reality. Sorry, I'm a bit pissy these days. I live in California, my vote isn't worth much.
  23. As Election Day Approaches,Trump Emerges as Candidate Of Comparable Integrity -The New York Sun: Conrad Black " In the last week of this tumultuous campaign, Donald Trump, however raucous his delivery, has emerged as the candidate of comparative integrity, and the only person who might clean out the Augean stable of the American political system. Unless Hillary Clinton, whose considerable gifts have never included an excess of spontaneous originality, can pull from the tattered Democratic hat a miraculous Brobdingnagian bunny, the doors of the White House will be opened to the greatest, if far from the most elegant, personal political crusade in American history. "
