From The Hill: Former President Trump topped President Biden, his chief general election rival, by 2 points in a national survey released Friday. Trump garnered 46 percent of support from U.S. voters in the new Emerson College poll edging out Biden, who received 44 percent, marking a narrow lead within the margin of error. Around 10 percent were undecided . . . .

Who the hell is Marco Rubio???????
Regardless methinks that the VP will not be from this list.
Classic Trump,classic chess move.
So,hmmmmmmmmmm, hust saying that if it was Marco Rubio then ran in 2028 does that mean that I do not have to eat anymore crow?

I see things sometimes, like I saw the first Trump presidency.
What I see now is a super-strong Trump administration in 2025.
Trump has one soft spot that needed to be expunged. He has a good heart. That's why he did not lock up Hillary Clinton. And that's why he let a lot of wrongdoing off the hook his first go around.
Now he has learned that his enemy does not deserve his good heart.
And now the clean-up that needs to happen has a much stronger chance of being done right.
Don't forget. If you don't squash all the cockroaches, more show up in droves.
My only worry is that Trump will get locked up as part of a formality and Epsteined while in jail.
Still, there is the Secret Service, so that will be hard for them to pull off...
I have to admit, the gloating from the bad guys is a pain in the ass, though.
When their time comes, I for one, will have no empathy. No gloating, but no empathy. Let them get what they deserve.
And, as in a Bible image I like a lot, I will wipe their dust from my sandals as I move on.

Here here!!!!
I recall the first go around starting in 2015 when MSK called Trump to win and all the people here shouted NO, NEVER, CANNOT HAPPEN, and even one poster stated that Marco Rubio would win ,
Nine years later all of these posters have disappeared or lurk quietly.
Come home I say!!!
Trump24
#donedeal
That being said I wonder how many posters would be posting now if Trump did NOT win 2016!!!!
Or 2020
Or 2024
Or 2028 ( MAGA)

In Israel the borders are so tight and protected that they would know if a mouse or a cockroach or even a mosquito crossed the border yet in October everyone came across at will with no IDF soldiers anywhere for hours.
Riddle me that Batman.
That is the $64,000 question.

2 1/2 months to the convention, wondering who Trump picks for his VP.
Also wondering if Obama will stay with the Biden/Harris ticket or of he will decide to replace Kamala.
Peter, any updates re Trump VP?

This one is personal and it reflects on the sense of life of MAGA people.
I love Chanel Rion from OAN as a newscaster. I have ever since I saw her on OAN a few years ago. Unfortunately, I don't see her often since I no longer watch news on Cable TV.
But whenever a clip of her comes up, I watch it and often feel better for it. I saw one the other day on X and loved what Chanel said.
God knows I have tried to unite with evil, not in the sense of joining it, but in the sense of finding specific areas of common ground so we can find a higher ground with universal principles.
I can't say my tactics have been a total failure, but the successes have been a paltry few. Man have there been headaches, though.
That's the mind I was in when I saw Chanel's video.
So I posted a response to it.
Chanel then followed me on X.
This is the first famous person who has followed me on X solely based on what I posted. In essence, we are strangers, but I know for sure she and I share a lot of common ground.
So I felt proud she followed me. It felt like a salute.
Someday I intend to meet her.
Michael
Way to go and first of many!!!!!

Re the student Gaza protests and takeovers of the universities.
Back when there were sit-ins etc. against the Vietnam war, Ayn Rand had plenty to say. She ended up publishing a book of essays featuring it (The New Left: The Anti-Industrial Revolution, which was republished after her death under the title Return of the Primitive.)
I want to compare the modern Gaza protests with back then, but there is so much dumbassery today, it's hard to make the comparison.
For instance, check this out.
The students who took over Hamilton Hall at Columbia University didn't worry about basic survival supplies. Now they are asking the public for food and guarantees they can send people out for food.
If I wanted to make this up, this scene would be a pretty good turning point in a comedy about dumbasses.
And, after seeing that, I don't think Ayn Rand--if she were alive today--would bother writing about it like she did back in the 60s.
At that level, who are those dumbasses going to threaten for real? What philosophical principles are they challenging? They all have plenty of money and can't even feed themselves. They forgot to plan for it while staging a pretend-violent takeover of a building.

Had NB not had his affair with AR and kept expanding the NB Institute, one can only wonder how much further Objectivism would have gone.

Rubio? Maybe not. They are both living in the same state, so Marco doesn't bring the "extra" votes like someone from Ohio might. A women would matter . . . and I believe there are two possible candidates in that group that might bring electoral and the women's vote. You know that "supposition" may be on the mark because you can type in "Possible Trump VP's" and their names will appear.
I agree on the female vp but Marco Rubio has slim to no chance and slim just left town.
