  1. Tim Pool is not quite as blind as you to the pertinent fact of weekday afternoon games. But he does sweep it under the rug when citing the 27% drop in viewers at 6:48. Given your doomsday projection, are you willing to bet big $$ that the NBA will no longer exist in 2021? 2022? 2023? I will be glad to take the other side.
  2. https://medium.com/@shinjieyong/the-first-clinical-trial-to-support-vitamin-d-therapy-for-covid-19-906a9d907468 I don't believe this clinical trial puts a lot of weight on taking a Vitamin D supplement without having Covid-19 and a deficiency of Vitamin D.

  4. Breibart says viewers of NBA playoff games are "down 20 percent overall." However, it's not on the Sports Media Watch page. Most of the games have been on ESPN or TBS or TNT, not ABC. Most future games where the station is shown will be on ESPN or TNT. Only one is ABC. The Sports Media Watch page says: "All comparisons come with the disclaimer that this year’s NBA Playoffs is taking place four months later than originally scheduled, during a time of year in which fewer televisions are in use, and with the majority of games airing in unusual weekday afternoon timeslots." Another Sports Media Watch title is: "NBA Playoffs up in prime time, but not enough to overcome day game deluge."

  6. Scientists see downsides to top COVID-19 vaccines from Russia, China The Washington ComPost article says nothing about this. Its message is that the Trump administration rejects the authority of WHO.
  7. Reports that say that something hasn't happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns—the ones we don't know we don't know. And if one looks throughout the history of our country and other free countries, it is the latter category that tend to be the difficult ones. -- Donald Rumsfeld
  8. Danny Boy has been sung and recorded by many. Johnny Cash Elvis Presley Wikipedia: "Various suggestions exist as to the true meaning of "Danny Boy". Some have interpreted the song to be a message from a parent to a son going off to a war or uprising (as suggested by the reference to "pipes calling glen to glen") or leaving as part of the Irish diaspora." "The song is popular for funerals[.]"
  9. I had chicken pox as a child. I had shingles around age 40 and again 3-4 years ago. The first time was pretty bad. The second time was very, very mild. I didn't even diagnose it as shingles. My doctor did. As of a few minutes ago the USA's total cases/population was 0.0188. That implies 98.12% of the population have not been Covid cases. So it should be no surprise that many people know nobody personally who has been infected.

  11. I call it lying hyperbole. Somewhat like when you said "I'm bored again."
  12. I don't care who she is. She lied. Your exalted elitist ruler's The Art of the Deal includes the term "truthful hyperbole." Do you believe Sidney Powell's remark was "truthful hyperbole"? Whoop-de-doo, Snarky.
  13. Of course. I also know there is a fuzzy line between hyperbole and a lie.
  14. Hey, BIG Spenders by John Stossel I add the following about Mr. Bombast. Federal spending has increased every year since Obama left office. The number of federal government employees has increased during Trump’s term. The number of “deep state” contractors and money flow to them have likely increased, too. For each of the 3 fiscal years under Trump the federal deficit has been greater than any of Obama's last 3 years. When fiscal year 2020 is complete, the deficit will be far higher than any deficit that occurred under Obama, including the whoppers of 2009-2011. The 2020 deficit will be the largest in US history in $$ and near 3 times Obama's highest. It will be the largest in US history as % of GDP since WWII. If Trump wins in November, his fiscal year 2021 deficit will be another whopper. He wants to make it even bigger by cutting the payroll tax. If he doesn't win, a chunk of it will still be his legacy. So, yeah, Trump is the greatest -- at creating deficits, expanding government, and increasing federal government spending and the US national debt. During his 2016 campaign, Trump promised to reduce and eventually eliminate the deficit. He promised whopping GDP growth. He promised huge infrastructure spending with a sham finance scheme. He said Mexico would pay to build a wall. He promised to fix the taxation of carried interest. He promised to drain the swamp. He has delivered none of them and won't. He merely changed a few creatures in the swamp. “Draining the swamp” requires sharply curtailing the money flow to it, which Trump has not done. That makes him a great big fat liar, which he has amply proven in many other ways.
  15. Sidney Powell lied. I was watching. The number of viewers is not available yet. However, it’s near a sure bet at least several 100,000 fans of the teams playing were watching.
  16. The Tragic Hydroxychloroquine Debate and Dr. Fauci's Denial of Evidence Earlier in this thread MSK posted an interview of Dr. Risch by John Berman of CNN. Berman used randomized clinical trials (RCT) as a favorite "weapon" against Dr. Risch. The first comment on the above article is: "So, where are the randomized clinical trials demonstrating the efficacy of masks and social distancing? If an RCT is required before we do interventions why haven't we done an RCT for that?"
  17. Note that MSK quoted me and dropped the smiley face. It was a joke! It alluded to MSK's saying to me, "But I didn't hear you say hydroxychloroquine... it's scientific."
  18. The other side of the story regarding Lindell is that Lindell got a friendly interviewer instead of the hostile Anderson Cooper. That’s unless MSK believes that Lindell made a “scientific” case for using oleandrin against Covid-19. If so, by what standard? Denigrating CNN, even when deserved, does not raise Lindell’s credibility. Calling something a “gotcha” is MSK’s overused way of dismissing something totally by finding some fault (often minor) and regardless of any merit that something has. Of course, he probably hopes readers will do likewise. A rational defense of Lindell touting oleandrin is a lost cause. So MSK tries to "win" by attacking CNN, “global elitists,” and people who want control of others (with a huge exception for people MSK likes).
  19. Maybe. However, I would expect a huge supply problem. The plasma is from people who already had Covid-19 and recovered. That's a small count. The count of people wanting a vaccine is probably very large.
  20. The plasma is for people already sickened by the virus and even hospitalized. A vaccine is to avoid becoming sick.
