  1. I just went to OL, saw a message that I had and message. I clicked on it and malware locked up my computer telling me to call this number immediately. I went to my computers task manager and was able to get out.

      This is not from the OL end. I have some beefs with IPB, but security is not one of them. Nowadays, there are retargeting cookies on your computer and all kinds of things from normal browsing. Each new feature represents a new vulnerability. So what happened to you can happen from any site.

      NEVER click on a link on a page like you did. But I do what you did when a page like that appears. I've even seen this kind of nagging attack visiting an Amazon site.
