SPLC Smears Ayn Rand

Recommended Posts

Chris,

The Southern Poverty Law Center was founded to go after the Ku Klux Klan.

It went after the Klan. After years of work, it was rather successful. Hardly a tiny bit of the KKK still exists.

The SPLC did not declare victory and close up shop. Instead, it started going after more and more groups—all of them equivalent to the KKK in its eyes.

Now it has come to embody nearly every tendency that it professes to deplore.

If this guy represents the SPLC's "intelligence project," I'd hate to see the non-sleuths at this outfit.

Of course there wasn't a single piece of evidence suggesting that this guy was driven, or even influenced by, the right wing (or politics at all).

And having a skull shrine in your back yard, smoking pot, dressing goth and reading The Communist Manifesto aren't exactly right wing ideas.

If liberals really take this "vitriol" stuff seriously then why don't they remove their children from sports? Metaphors of war are considerably more common there and sports tend to be violent.
