There was a motion picture that never made it to the theaters called -Rain without Thunder-. It came out at the same time as -Bob Roberts-. The premise was the legally ordained personhood of fetuses. So what to do about women who went elsewhere to have abortions. The answer: accuse them of kidnapping! The prosecute them for that. So once a women had a verified pregnancy, if she left the country and came back without a babe in arms, she was a kidnapper.

If this dreadful amendment passes, then abortion clinics will be set up just over the state lines in Kansas, New Mexico and Wyoming (forget Utah!). Or even mobile abortion clinics just over the state lines.
