There is talk of Rand Paul running for president in 2016. So far he has maneuvered himself in such a way as to be acceptable to the GOP establishment, meaning he endorsed Romney. This has been viewed as an abandonment of the principles of the Ron Paul movement by hard core Ron Paul supporters. IT remains to be seen whether he can maintain in the years ahead.

Meanwhile Japan has reached one quadrillion Yen in debt with zero interest rates and Greece, Spain and Italy have soaring unemployment among the youth as well as inability to make looming debt service payments. Remember also that Rand Paul voted for the NDAA. Remember further that he didn't introduce his (milquetoast) anti-TSA bill until after he personally was affected.
