GALTGULCH8
There is talk of Rand Paul running for president in 2016. So far he has maneuvered himself in such a way as to be acceptable to the GOP establishment, meaning he endorsed Romney. This has been viewed as an abandonment of the principles of the Ron Paul movement by hard core Ron Paul supporters. IT remains to be seen whether he can maintain in the years ahead.Meanwhile Japan has reached one quadrillion Yen in debt with zero interest rates and Greece, Spain and Italy have soaring unemployment among the youth as well as inability to make looming debt service payments. Our own deficits are likely to continue in the over trillion level adding to the 16T debt not counting the unfunded liabilities associated with Social Security and Medicare to which are added over 10,000 new entitled retirees daily. As Gary Johnson and others have warned we are on the verge of an economic collapse here and worldwide with food shortages and civil unrest. We know such strife leads to governments seeking more power and instituting more controls, mandates, extractions and the like. The next election for president seems to be too far away. One argument I find useful when dealing with patients who are quite suicidal is that when they are on a cloud looking down and witness the threats to their grandchildren by roving bands of desperate starving people they may wish they had stayed alive to be there to help protect their loved ones. Mark
[Rand Paul] ... endorsed Romney. This has been viewed as an abandonment of the principles of the Ron Paul movement by hard core Ron Paul supporters. You soften your statement with the modifier "hard core." In fact Rand Paul did abandon them. Gerald Celente starts at 6:23 minutes. (Alex Jones - he of the noxious voice -- on this subject starts at 3:33 minutes.)Remember also that Rand Paul voted for the NDAA. Remember further that he didn't introduce his (milquetoast) anti-TSA bill until after he personally was affected.
