Who is O'Bama and what does he believe in?

I am attempting to start this discussion because of the breath of knowledge and expertise that I have enjoyed experiencing at this forum which is the only forum I have ever participated in.

I am a very political animal and I enjoy analyzing American politics. This particular election is a watershed election in my opinion. Towards the end of trying to understand what Senator O'Bama actually means and believes in, I keep running across his trying to visit all "57 States" quote. My question is whether it was just a slip, or mistake, because he was tired which just does not make much sense to me in that "57" is just a peculiar number to slip into.

Heinz 57 varieties comes to my mind when I hear that number, but not much else.

Very recently, some anti-O'Bama folks have argued that it refers to an Islamic organization the OIC [see the following Wiki link]:

I would appreciate any clarification or direction concerning this alleged "slip" by the Senator.

I just saw this. It is from September of last year. For some darn reason it was moderated, but I have no idea why. In fact, I don't remember seeing a queue notice until just now.
