I think it is fairly persuasive. I realize, however, that the heads of the Republican Party are probably in cahoots with the bankers who profit from the Federal Reserve System and would not want that cash cow abolished as Ron Paul would do!

Just keeping you folks informed.

I made the needed correction above.

Give it up, GG. The effort always was quixotic, and the Republican Party could never make a Ron Paul its candidate without giving up its soul, as an engine of graft, repression, and war. (Essentially indistinguishable from the Democratic Party, for that matter.)

As a Congressional gadfly, they can tolerate him. They did the gerrymandering that gave him, as well as his 533* unprincipled colleagues, their safe seats, and someone of integrity will sneak in every other generation or thereabouts. But they won't throw aside the lobbyist pincushion that is John McCain, and it's unreasonable to keep hoping for that.

___

* The other one of principle? Bernie Sanders, the unabashed socialist Senator from Vermont. As much an authoritarian as Paul is a small-L libertarian, but at least he's also consistent. Everyone else has a muddy political soul.

We are not about to give up our quixotic quest and today the final choice for the cover art was chosen and sent to the printer! The process goes on with about two or three hundred volunteers who have participated in this endeavor. We knew that if we did not even try that there would be no hope but if we did try there would at least be a glimmer of hope of success. We thought it would be worth a try. The final DVDs will be made available on youtube so the internet world will see what we have tried to do. If we do not succeed in persuading the delegates that might just show the soul of the Republican power elite for what it is.

It is tempting to say that if they know what is good for them they will listen to us and a Republican will win the election.
