studiodekadent Posted June 14, 2008 Share Posted June 14, 2008 (edited) Good news everyone.I have 2 new songs up on Myspace.The first of these songs is a completely original composition entitled "Parasitic-Misanthropic." Musically it was inspired by Velvet Acid Christ, Skinny Puppy, and the soundtracks to Silent Hill and Mass Effect (both video games). Lyrically, its a hate song about Mother Theresa.The second one (third one down), "Medicine," was a collaboration between myself and a friend of mine who records under the name Liberation Front. He wrote the music and lyrics and provided the vocals and guitars. I provided the production, percussion, and synthetic instrumentation. It starts out as a goth-rock drug ballad and by the end of the song morphs into a dark Industrial work. Musically, it was inspired by New Order, Sisters of Mercy, Gary Numan, Nine Inch Nails and Skinny Puppy. Please check them out and tell me if you like!
