Obama-Clinton contest: the philosophical content

I just skimmed over the following article on today's Clinton-Obama debate. I came across a section where I burst out laughing because it summed up to me the real differnce and real content of what is going on in this election (on all sides, and I mean everybody).

At debate, Clinton tries to raise doubts about Obama

Reuters

Feb 21, 2008

From the article (and during the debate):

"Whatever happens, we're going to be fine," she said, looking at Obama seated beside her. "We have strong support from our families and our friends. I just hope that we'll be able to say the same thing about the American people and that's what this election should be about."

Obama appeared touched by her words and the two shook hands warmly in the middle of her statement.

This was the intellectual sweet spot of warmth and good will between the candidates.

Hmmmmmmm...

I can't seem to find an idea at all in there, but it sounds good if you don't listen too carefully.

However... if you do listen carefully, you might hear something you don't want to. You might hear something mighty akin to the following.

Imagine getting to a banquet table at a party. The person in front of you just hogged a huge portion on his plate and got the last bit of all servable food. You look and poke around on the table to see if you can find anything, maybe on the side of a serving plate or half under one. Then he looks at you with sudden false surprise and innocent interest, as if he just noticed a dear but long lost family member. Chewing on a mouth full he blurts out, "I got mine. You didn't get yours?"

Michael:

Ahh yes. The socialist pigs were slobbering at the trough, shaking hands, winking at the people and hoping they would not notice the substance of their statements or the absolute abscene of substance from their proposals.

It was like two multiple white collar criminals meeting in a grotto and discussing their next scam over $500 wine at the Leopard in NYC.

Animal Farm anyone?

Here is some more philosophy for those who like bottom feeders.

:)

OBAMA'S LIMO SEX & DRUG PARTY

Here are three more in sequence by the same dude:

Obama's Sex & Drug Party pt 2

Obama's Sex & Drug Party pt 3

Obama's Sex & Drug Party pt 4

Thank goodness things are stooping down to a decent level. This whole campaign was getting boring. Now let's see if I can find something cool on Hillary...

Michael:

Not something like:

"Huma Abedin is at the center of a political rumor and alleged

scandal with Hillary Clinton. Huma Abedin is an aide to Senator

Hillary Clinton. Miss Abedin joined Clinton's support staff in

1996 and was a personal aide to Hillary Clinton until the senate

race. Abedin became chief aide during the Senate race. She is

now traveling with Clinton during the presidential run. Rumor

has it that Clinton and Abedin may have more than just a

professional relationship. This rumor is only alleged, and has

not been discussed by the candidate or the major news outlets."

Lol

Here are some cute cartoon satires of Hillary '08.

Episode 1 - "Scorpio"

Here are links to some of the others by this guy. He does not have all of them online at YouTube and I did not feel like spending a lot of time looking for the others. The production (especially timing) seems to get better as it goes along. Some are a bit lame. But there is a nugget of truth beneath the surface and they are quirky. That's what I enjoyed about them. So I got a chuckle even out of the weak ones. Also, there are a few priceless comments.

The last is a bit tasteless at the start, but after Hillary got on the phone, it was cute.
