Adrian
I was struck by this report from the Financial Times about a shopping center's marketing campaign to revive the US economy - http://ftalphaville.ft.com/blog/2008/02/19...wear-a-sticker/The campaign sounds to me a little like the "John Galt Plan" which Galt rightly refused to deliver. It also has slight overtones of Mr Bernanke's idea about boosting the economy by dropping money from helicopters (see the little YouTube trailer). What made me jump was that the plan was called "The Atlas Solution". Now I guess that objectivism has no copyright on the concept of Atlas, and I haven't seen any reference to Rand in the materials. And the shopping center is apparently Atlas Park (don't know why).Still, I did wonder whether there was some subliminal borrowwing of credibility going on here.
