Another Anniverisary

Almost fifty years the USSR launched Sputnik becoming the first nation to put a satellite into orbit.

It was a huge blow to the prestige and there were wide spread statements that the American system did not work. This was compounded when the United States did try to launch a satellite was a colossal failure.

It is fitting to remember that less than a week after the launching of Sputnik Atlas Shrugged was published. It was a book that demonstrated that the American system did work. That is was right and the one system to give man a good life on this earth.

Let's not forget that the USSR is gone. Atlas Shrugged and Ayn Rand had something to do with it going.
