Chris Grieb
President's Day which used to be Washington's birthday is supposed to honor all American Presidents. All American Presidents do not deserve to be honored. I would like to recommend a more objective evaluation in Dave Mayer's blog. Dave Mayer will be speaking at the Objectivist Center's Summer Seminar July 7-15th. Dave is an excellent speaker. I would like to say that we should honor George Washington. Washington was a great man. It is worth mentioning that Washington and Columbus are the only historical figures mentioned in Atlas Shrugged. Judith
I thought Presidents' Day was for Washington and Lincoln, since their birthdays are in February and we used to celebrate both their birthdays separately? This way we get an actual holiday (although most private corporations don't get a day off for it)?Judith
