There is a Tina Turner Musical at the Lunt-Fontanne on Broadway starting in October.  Tickets are $175 to two grand. It stars Adrienne Warren. “This new stage musical reveals the untold story of a woman who dared to defy the bounds of her age, gender and race.”

Notes. Adrienne Warren received a 2016 Tony nomination for her standout performance in Shuffle Along. Shortly after graduating from Marymount Manhattan College in 2009, she was cast in the Encores' production of The Wiz opposite Ashanti, Tony Award winner LaChanze and Orlando Jones, followed by the role of Lorell Robinson in a touring production of Dreamgirls.
