Airport Battles Some Muslim Cabbies

My Way News

Good for the officials at the St. Paul International airport in Minneapolis. Good for them.

Not only should there be separation of church and state, there should be separation of church and business. (If only we could get separation of government and business!)

Whether a license to operate a cab at an airport should be required is another issue, but so long as one is, there is no reason to impose religious beliefs on the opportunities to work on the property of the surrogate "owner" of the airport--beliefs that run counter to the business practices such "owner" establishes. "Get a job elsewhere" is the proper response to those who find the working conditions unacceptable.

If no license were required, I would have no issue with any cab driver refusing any passenger for any reason whatsoever.
