Founders chief executive Gary Hull is director of the Program on Values and Ethics in the Marketplace at Duke University, and a follower of the writings of novelist-philosopher Ayn Rand and objectivism. He has denied the school will follow the philosophy, which embraces “rational individualism” and laissez-faire capitalism, rejecting altruism and collectivism.
