Sorry about the outage of OL yesterday.

I had a disagreement backstage with the IPB folks. 

It's resolved now and all is peace and love.

We read the online Chicago papers for news and obits. Did a building collapse? We cried. We kept clicking on the OL link. We even looked for other sites. What happened we said. Sigh. Welcome back!

tech alert. Microsoft is updating outlook.com to a "beta" version. We have been without email mostly for a day and a half. We called our provider and they rebooted our modem and suddenly we could get back on. my wife's acct uses the beta but my two accts are still the old version . . . but they work. I could briefly get onto my old outlook but only once every several hours and it said we had overdone our quota and "Something went wrong." I will next reboot my computer to see what happens. Peter
