Nike fun, doing it

How the liberals deal with women who get too sassy for them.

:)

For clarification, Jordan Hunt, the genius with the foot, was just arrested--see here at Breitbart: #Resistance Man Who Assaulted Pro-Lifer Arrested. Also here from the Toronto Police Service: Man arrested in Assault investigation, Jordan Hunt, 26.

For further clarification, the tweet above is from a Jordan Hunt parody account. I hate to call bullshit on Breitbart, but as of my post right now, it has several tweets from the "jordan_hunt18" account and nobody over there checked to see if it was really Hunt's account or a parody one.

I mean, come on. Some of the tweets are hilarious. You Breitbart people post the following and don't realize something is weird? Jeez... :) ... LOL..

To the Breitbart people: You can't fight fake news by publishing a different form of fake news. Get your act together.

Let's see what Nike sales look like after the election season has passed and settled.

Well... there's this.

And it's ugly.

Duke’s Zion Williamson blows out his shoe, injures knee, and Nike gasps in horror

And this:

Nike shares slide after Zion Williamson's sneaker malfunction

Some people might call this karma.

I call it focusing on social justice ad campaigns while not focusing on building a good product.

Nike users, may require New Balance

New Balance are the best shoe for people with wider feet and for older people seeking to increase their stability while walking. I buy them on-line and the size and width are always perfect. If I am walking around the house barefoot or in my socks I am not as steady and I come closer to stubbing my toe. The one downsize (joke) I see in them is that they carry stains (like from a splash of wet cat food, yuk) and if I lace them the least bit too tight my feet hurt on top.

Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything.
Just do it.

So he did:

Michael Avenatti charged with trying to extort $20M from Nike

Quote

Avenatti — who shot to fame representing porn star Stormy Daniels over her claims of an affair with President Trump and more recently the parents of Azriel Clary, one of R. Kelly’s alleged “sex slaves” — was arrested in Manhattan on charges that he tried to shake down the sneaker giant Nike for $20 million last week, authorities said.

“I’ll go take $10 billion off your client’s market cap … I’m not f–king around,” court papers say he told Nike lawyers during a conference call Wednesday.

That conversation came a day after Avenatti met with Nike’s lawyers and “threatened to release damaging information” if the company didn’t pay off Avenatti and an unidentified co-conspirator, according to a complaint filed in Manhattan federal court.

The Wall Street Journal identified the alleged co-conspirator as lawyer Mark Geragos, citing two people familiar with the matter.

Avenatti’s alleged “not f–king around” threat allegedly came on the eve of Nike’s quarterly earnings report, and two days before the start of the NCAA’s “March Madness” college basketball tournament.

The charges against him were revealed just minutes after Avenatti — who recently flirted with a Democratic presidential campaign — tweeted that he would be holding a Tuesday morning news conference about “a major high school/college basketball scandal perpetrated by @Nike that we have uncovered.”

“This criminal conduct reaches the highest levels of Nike and involves some of the biggest names in college basketball,” he claimed.

During an afternoon news conference, Manhattan US Attorney Geoffrey Berman said Avenatti told Nike that if his demands weren’t met, the company would be “inflicted with cut after cut after cut after cut.”

“A suit and tie doesn’t mask the fact that at its core this was an old-fashioned shakedown,” Berman said.

Heh...

btw - Mark Geragos is representing Jussie Smollett, the actor who said he was attack by two Trump supporters in the middle of the night in Chicago, and was outfitted with a noose and doused with bleach. According to the Chicago police, Smollett apparently hired the two "Trump supporters," who were friends and work colleagues of his, and were from Africa. Geragos says it's outrageous how Smollett is being framed and denied presumption of innocence.

:)

Geragos also represented Colin Kaepernick and is a CNN legal analyst who appears regularly on CNN's shows. At least, as of this post, he is still listed as such on CNN's site.

More info here:

Report: Former CNN Legal Analyst Mark Geragos is Avenatti Co-Conspirator

Between Avanetti and Geragos, it looks like they done did it for real.

Due to lack of time recently, I have not been reading a lot, even here on OL. But I eventually catch up.

I just finally read the following posts, so it's only fair to say Jon preempted me by about three hours on the Avenatti and Geragos news.

Here are the posts, which are on a different thread.

For crimes he committed under Obama.

And they would have remained hidden under Killery.

He had to destroy our President to avoid the consequences of his extreme criminality.

Maybe he’s the only one, though, right? Maybe all the others believed the stupidest conspiracy theory ever and did everything in their power to destroy our President, out of sincere conviction.

No innocent until proven guilty, CNN? This guy got OJ off on murder charges, and OJ was guilty as can be — no waiting to see if he beats the charges? It’s almost like they already knew their contributor was certainly a criminal.

I kinda like this cross posting when the bad guys are nailed good and nailed. That means more people will see it.

Here's some more Nike and Kapernick fun doing it.

The controversial special edition of the Air Max 1 Quick Strike sneakers.

Nike Drops ‘Betsy Ross Flag’ Sneaker After Kaepernick Criticizes It

Quote

Nike planned to celebrate the Fourth of July with a new sneaker, a special edition of the Air Max 1 Quick Strike featuring that most patriotic of symbols: an American flag.

But rather than including a flag with 50 stars as part of its design, the sneaker’s heel featured the 13-star model, a design associated with the Revolutionary War, the Philadelphia seamstress Betsy Ross and, for some people, a painful history of oppression and racism.

On Tuesday, Nike canceled the release of the sneaker, again plunging headlong into the nation’s culture wars.

The abrupt cancellation came after Colin Kaepernick, the former National Football League quarterback and social justice activist, privately criticized the design to Nike...

. . .

Sandra Carreon-John, a company spokeswoman, said in a statement on Tuesday that Nike had made the decision to “halt distribution” of the sneaker “based on concerns that it could unintentionally offend and detract from the nation’s patriotic holiday.”

There followed a shitstorm. These knuckeheads actually tried to put the idea in the mainstream that the Betsy Ross flag celebrates racism and white supremacy.

Looks like they forgot to tell some prominent black people on the left.

It's an old joke by now, but here is a photo of President Obama's second inaugural in 2013:

:)

The good news for entrepreneurs is that the Betsy Ross flag is now selling like hotcakes on all kinds of merchandise.

Just do it.
