I found this fascinating article on research on cell regeneration in newts. For those who like to wrap their minds around the causal dynamics and the science of such things, this can set your imagination, or thoughts, on fire. I was led to this article simply by thinking about how a finger I damaged a week ago, in the process of reminding myself not to leave it too close to the nails I sometimes need to hit into cement, is healing itself.
