[Randex]Taxes, social programs aid citizens, including Wampler

I have a feeling Kris Wampler's argument in "Positive rights threaten liberty" did little more than anger the average reader with its implausibility. What Wampler and every member of Ayn Rand's cult of egotism fail to understand is that our nation's laws to prevent discrimination and economic inequality are in place, not to strip us of our rights, but to defend the most vital ones of all: life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
