Sounds plausible to me!

Hopefully Obama will seek Congressional authorization to attack and will not get it. But he has a curious habit for going ahead

if he doesn't get what he wants from the Congress.

Russia has made their missiles available to Assad who could retaliate against our surface destroyers. The Onyx missile travels so fast it could sink a battleship without a warhead!

An interesting tangent. Yes. Young Americans For Liberty is endorsed by Ron Paul who identifies himself with the pro freedom movement, surely advocates the Founder's vision, although they were, more of them Deists than Christians, and Ron Paul spoke of how he was born again as a teen, so his views were fashioned by the dogma of a most primitive theology unfortunately.

One of my favorite books is Classics of Free Thought which was written by Paul Blanshard, brother of Brand Blanshard whose Reason and Analysis was reviewed in The OBjectivist Newsletter. The "Classics" is filled with excerpts from a host of free thinkers including Clarence Darrow who spoke out against the irrational beliefs of that theology quite vigorously.

I found a list on the www.YALibery.org website of books being read by the recruits to the movement which include more sane works of Hazlitt Economics In One Lesson, Rand's Atlas Shrugged etc.

A bit of a hodgepodge but time will tell. i am sure each of us would like to see a few more of our favorites on the list.

There is no doubt in my mind that YAL will grow at times exponentially, more rapidly at some times than other times, never fast enough to suit me, but I might be surprised. SO in that respect I am optimistic. Whether they mostly come out being libertarians remains to be seen. I doubt they will be of one mind altogether but I am hopeful that they will be a powerful force for realization of the implementation of certain rational premises regarding individual freedom

As their numbers grow along with others in the network such as Students for Liberty which is already worldwide I expect that the voice of the sweet whisper of reason will be heard at their conventions and in their literature.

I expect it will grow beyond what is left of my lifetime and I only wish that the Founders had seen fit to start something of the kind when this country began to assure that the proper ideological foundation had a chance to come to life back then.

Regarding our present crisis O appears to be eager to strike and despite his intention to just make his proportional response he seems to be oblivious to the likelihood that there will be a blow back to it which might make it tough to call it quits, like the sinking of one or more of his destroyers which launch his proportional response cruise missiles.
