Other people tell them what to say. Actors in general tend to be people who do well at repeating what other people say. Of course, what "many" or "most" do or are is not a rule of law. Moreover, she could be a genius and still if she is recorded every day for the span of her working career be caught in an unfortunate ad lib phrasing. In short, do not make too much of this.
