What the 773H is Mike Adams bitching about? What the 773H is wrong with killing your elderly parents by dehydration? That's called "being socially responsible". What the 773H is wrong with being socially responsible? Are you some kind of sociopath, you don't wanna be socially responsible?

How well oldsters are supported in the debility of age depends essentially on wealth. A wealth of children, for instance--destroyed by the lack of need because of Medicare and Social Security or for helping out on the farm or family business. Then there is the wealth destruction of Medicare/Medicaid with all the cost-increasing strictures they have imposed as the plenty money results in administrative expansion to absorb that money and comply with the rules. Then there are the other costs not diminished because it is so hard to innovate in medicine and be legally compliant and remain in the good grace of your peers.

There was/is an extremely poor Indian tribe here in Arizona, near Yuma I think, in which an old person self-determined when the burden of his existence was too much for the others to bear. At that time he would walk away never to be seen again, not even burdening the tribe with deposing of his body.
