The problem with unaccountable political power isn't that pyschopaths/sociopaths get it, it's that people behave like sociopaths when they get it. The Stanford Prison Experiment should have debunked the idea that the problem is who has arbitrary power over people. The Milgram Obedience Experiment should have debunked the idea that only evil people do evil things under the influence of authority. All that will happen from banning sociopaths from political power is that the sociopaths will continue to be sociopaths and the people who are in charge instead will become sociopaths. End result: more sociopaths.
