  1. Kyle, one is avaliable throught the writings of libertarians (Kevin Carson, Roderick Long). They seem to be worlds ahead of Objectivists in some respects.
  2. True. As I remember most of the villans in AS are crny businessmen. Mr. Thompson is the only politician, right?
  3. http://dailyanarchis...-goldman-sachs/ Harry Binswanger’s 2011 praise of Goldman Sachs at Forbes.com ignores the context that the US does not have a free market economy. The US is a mixed economy, whose financial sector is monopolized by banking cartels. Counter to Binswanger’s argument that, “since profit is the market value of the product minus the market value of factors used, profit represents the value created,” the corporate profits of Goldman Sachs are the result of lobbying, government insider favors, the infamous 2008 bailout of AIG. and their membership in the central bank’s monetary monopoly. This misdirection is the primary characteristic of what Roderick Long called “right-conflationism.” --Read More--
  4. Top Ten Subreddits for Aspiring Strikers "The prospect of building a community outside of the state sanctioned economy can seem like a daunting task, but with a little creativity the range of actions open to the aspiring agorist are seemingly endless. The opportunities are all around us, some small and others large, to deprive the state of the resources it uses to aggress against individuals. It is my hope that this list of subreddits will serve as inspiration for members of the community to seek out ways to live their lives free of state intervention. I have intentionally chosen non-ideological subreddits and whenever possible, subreddits that are not listed as “default” subs. I have also attempted to no list any subreddit which is on the sidebar of a subreddit that is already listed. The sidebars of these subreddits are often the most valuable resource, and I would highly recommend reading them to get the most out of the subreddits, including exploring the list or related subreddits many sidebars offer."
  5. huh? In sort, take an Oath of Poverty. Most of us do not have land to grow our own food on. What do you suggest that the Landless do? Ba'al Chatgzaf Buy food in farmers markets which are unregulated and untaxed. They are the black market of food. Kinder goats. The doe can produce 150lbs (cleaned and processed) of meat per year by slaughtering its kids, plus it produces an average pf two quarts milk per day. You dont kill the doe obviously. You keep it and eat its kids, and drink its milk. (I wish they didnt call goat offspring "kids" >.<) For more info: http://www.backwoodshome.com/articles2/sanderson95.html

  7. http://anarchobjectivist.wordpress.com/2013/09/07/an-anarchobjectivists-guide-to-atlas-shrugged/ "Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand is the story of a group of anarcho-capitalists, led by inventor John Galt, who struggle against and eventually destroy the state and its allies in business. "
  8. In atlas shrugged, some of the heros are presented as scabs to a strike (whose memebers are also presented as heros) which is presented as ultimately the right course of actions. What do you think are the differences between rearden and dagny vs Galt, frisco, and ragnar?
  9. https://anarchobjectivist.wordpress.com/ "An AnarchObjectivist is one who accepts the fundamental principles of Ayn Rands philosophy, but rejects her advocacy of minarchism as inconsistent with those basic positions in metaphysics, epistemology, and ethics."
  10. The Rational Life Center is an initiative I have created to promote rational living. It mainly deals with the application of rational thought to the special sciences such as nutrition, health, time management, education. Links to such information can be found on the blog. In addition the blog has a special focus on rational thinking methods, correct thinking habits (psycho-epistemology) and general cognitive enhancement to include memory, intelligence, motivation, attention, and concentration. While almost none of this material can be considered Objectivism (however there are links to philosophy, after all a rational philosophy is integral to a rational way of life), it is consistent with Objectivist principles. "The Rational Life Center is a division of the Temple of the Human Spirit. The Purpose of the RLC is to encourage reason-based living. The Temple of the Human Spirit is an organization founded on the movement began by Ayn Rand in 1943 with the publication of “The Fountainhead.” It is dedicated on the principles exemplified by Howard Roark; rationality, independence, integrity, honesty, justice, productivity, purpose, pride and self-esteem: which we perceive to be the highest form of the human spirit. It is the human spirit, the spirit of reason, which has lifted man out of the dark ages and into the heavens. The skyscraper, the airplane, and the space shuttle are all monuments to the awe inspiring power of the human spirit, a power which no mystical belief can rival in its ability to achieve health, happiness and success. The Temple promotes a rational worldview which, in addition to basic philosophy, encompasses ideological positions the fields of the special sciences that we identify as congruent with our fundamental premises."
  11. Objectivist wombs? hehe, screwed by punctuation!
  12. On another forum, my work received this criticism: "Consider, perhaps, that people are likely to react better and be more supportive of an Objectivist-centric blog that posts actual content, rather than simply posting pictures with little quotes under them, essentially making it a website full of nothing but motivational posters of which there are billions and contribute little to nothing to the advancement of Objectivism or the knowledge of it. Show us something praiseworthy and we will "praise it." And the post received 5 "likes" What gives Objectivists??
  13. The Road to Happiness I plan to have this printed and framed to hang on my wall.
  14. James: Rational Recovery step process?? Adam Well, I modified the quote myself, but the inspiration was from Ayn Rands discussion of the quote in her essay "The metaphysical vs the man-made" in "Philosophy: Who Needs It"
  15. You know you want a print Rich ;) Are you familiar with the origin of the modified quote?

  17. Xray, have you read a book called "Anthem?" it's by a woman named Ayn Rand. Neat lady.
  18. Reality of course not to mention those of use who can recognize such virtue.
  19. Thank you Adam, and Michael. I have to admit this is a rough draft, I may revise it at some time. Thanks again for your comments. It makes the effort that goes into this blog worth it.
