I think you are being unfair to Perigo here, Michael. I like to think I am a pretty good judge of character, and I would say Perigo is one of the least materialistic people in NZ. It may be tempting to use the Lineberry issue to get at him, but he was not the only one who hitched his chariot to Lineberry's winged ego. Characters like Lineberry are very charismatic -- they have to be to keep fooling others. Now that he can no longer spin, I expect Lineberry will disappear as he arrived -- in an explosion of horsefeathers ;) Sadly the slurs on Perigo's integrity re financials show just how damaging the lowlife has been. Hopefully a few others have taken notice.

Thank you Michael for your kind words ;-) People, including Lineberry, claim he is not an Objectivist, etc. That's what they say. But from what I observe Perigo & Co. do (as opposed to what they say), Lineberry is the perfect concrete embodiment of the concept of KASS. Before more comes to light I just want to say that I don't think Lineberry embodies what Perigo would like SOLO to be. But he welcomed him, so that is what it has become. Perigo and Peter Cresswell have been unable to look at Lineberry objectively because he has stroked their egos, and they have been so blinded by his flattery and promises of money, radio stations, and hope. Lineberry is a spin master, and he has relied on those on the forum not having the contacts to verify what he has been saying. Even now they probably don't believe me. Mind you I warned Cresswell when he first showed up. He chose to think *I* was being untruthful. I like to think that was out of naivety. Kind regards, Ruth

Lineberry's days in the sun are coming to an end. His ego is tripping him up and he is exposing himself as the fraud he is more and more. He spins and ducks and dives all the time, and now a few decent people are finally starting to notice. Sorry to pollute your forum with this Michael, but until just recently I have had very little support about the unethical nature of Lineberry. When it all comes out everyone will say "I knew that all along". I have no doubt about that. Thanks.

There is no need to have a lopsided view of NZ Michael. A good friend of mine - he is pretty much far right by the way - said: I venture to suggest that revulsion at the Veitch affair unites Kiwis of all political colours and his only supporters are a barrel of rotten apples who reveal their true corruption and cynicism by their support of Veitch. Veitch also left this woman lying on the floor for 6 hours before getting help. Still Perigo supports him as a Jesus like figure. I don't care what they say about me - I know I am not evil like they are.

Do you happen to know if Lineberry really is as wealthy as he indicates he is? Ellen ___ Lineberry talks a load of amateur rubbish to those who know no better. He plays the indexes - the most amateur thing one can do in the share market. The settlement processes he details are laughable. He would not know a derivative if it bit him. He may well be 'upper middle class' but that is not from share trading, I can assure you.

Oh absolutely Michael. Without the audience he is nothing - and his opinion is nothing. This is why he tries to be as offensive as possible on as many issues as possible - to keep in the public eye. No matter the cost to the cause he says he believes in. It is the ego that matters. In spite of him not being officially involved with Libz he is seen by all NZ as their main spokesperson. Lineberry appeared out of nowhere and was quickly clasped to the bosom of the party and become a close friend of Perigo and Cresswell. Make of that what you will. Perigo may or may not be a racist and an elitist -- Lineberry certainly is both -- and arguing about it is likely to end up nowhere. But what is unmistakably true about Perigo is that he is an extremist and an outright nutcase when it comes to certain issues - like domestic violence.

This whole issue is disgusting - and Perigo and his groupies are destroying what support the Libertarian Party has with their uncontrollable egos. As I'm sure most here know, Perigo has made a career out of transmitting extremist beliefs into the mainstream of public discourse by reframing and repackaging them for wider consumption, mostly by studiously avoiding the more noxious and often racist elements of those beliefs - until the arrival of Lineberry. He assisted in the promotion of Lineberry's racist Maori Badges - akin to Judenstar - which demonstrates unquestionably that he has extremely poor judgement, especially regarding whose ideas and agendas he helps promote. The primary role of govt is to protect its citizens from violence -human rights do not stop at the door of the family home. Paying hush money is what the Mongrel Mob do - it is not how decent society rolls. It is how Grand Theft Auto rolls. His ego will destroy the Libertarian Party in NZ - character is now more important here than policy - similar to the US I guess. Give him enough rope - wait and see with the election results. He will blame the foul-smelling, ignorant brown masses for not having the intelligence to vote Libertarian instead of taking responsibility for his own big mouth.

The lonely and alienated, lecturing the fulfilled and grounded; men that posses no discipline and order within their own personal lives, fanatically obsessing on what should be the proper social and economic order of the world; men that are failures at even the most mundane aspects of life, lecturing to those of genuine personal achievement; the unkempt and ugly, giving instruction on the arts and beauty; emotionally repressed geeks, giving lectures concerning joy and exaltation; and last but not least, people unable to create and maintain lasting relationships or friendships, pontificating on the nature of love and loyalty. Goerge Cordero As an admirer of Rand for many years I have been horrified at the malevolent human beings who come in her name on the internet. Cordero's quote just says it all -- and that is so sad. We have Perigo and Cresswell in NZ 'promoting' Objectivism - two of the angriest men in the country. Just venting...something is wrong here.

This is very beautiful Michael, and if I could afford to buy it i would. I have a print of yours I bought about a year ago which has pride of place in my home. I have also used your work to inspire the 'at risk' youth I work with. I just wonder what drew you to Objectivism. The movement in New Zealand at least, as personified by Perigo and Cresswell, is rife with racists and bigots. That is not "Sense of Life' to me.
