  1. Sidney Powell repeatedly thrown under the same airport express bus by both men, punctuating the mutual appeasement with some surprising allegations.  It must be depressing to be Sidney Powell right now. Of course no raconteur like Wood and Byrne would stop there -- they utter some hard gossip against Jovan Pulitzer among others ... I almost feel sorry for Wood. He has been rejected or abandoned by his children and his law colleagues. He's facing further hits to his reputation each week, and he feels like the good guy leaders like Flynn are not coming to his aid.

I threw myself off the Airport Express just before it crushed Jack Posobiec.

Curious after Michael’s listing of legitimate Russian grievances against Ukraine, is Retaliatory use of force, or the Initiation of force, a priority for / against Russia? Think about it in philosophical terms. Why the hell does Russian need to invade a European country? Is Putin off his rocker?

We are going to see a lot of images like that.

Do you think the streets were filled with a crowd when soldiers opened fire and those are the people unlucky enough to be struck down ? Or were they shot where they stood defiantly in front of soldiers, did the soldiers shot them simultaneously or start at the top of the block and the later victims just stood their unarmed ground ? Curios and curiouser.

A very odd thing is happening on the Internet. It's kinda clickbaity.

Somebody says, "You won't believe how XXX melted down and stormed off."

Who doesn't like gossip? So off you go to watch the video? Then you see a person make a firm comment that he feels at an impasse and his time is up anyway. He gets up and leaves, saying, "Goodbye" politely to everyone.

And you wonder, where was the storm? Where was the meltdown?

I don't know how many of these I have seen.

The video of Putin above is another. I didn't see angry paranoia. I didn't see a person too small to blame himself, so he blames everyone else--at least not anything that resembles the people I have seen who do that. I didn't see anyone channeling Stalin and Mao.

(Oddly enough, I agree with him when he bashes people who believe they belong to a higher caste. I want to be  careful, though, that he and I are referring to the same thing when I bash these people. I think we are. And if we are, I look on in wonder. How does a guy like him see this? :) )

I did see a person saying thoughts that align with his strongman posture. But I didn't see any raving or foaming at the mouth. His speaking tone was normal. He did use some hyperbole. But on a scale of 1 to 10, the hyperbole was about a 3 at most.

Doesn't anyone remember Hitler sounding like a dog barking? I didn't see anything like that.

I wonder what value people get in selling emotional hysteria and delivering normal shit.

One can (and should) bash Putin. One doesn't need to lie or trick the audience to do that.

      So why do it?

Lack of talent to do it right?

      From Yahoo News:

      Quote

Former President Trump on Thursday responded to recent reports about his handling of White House records, claiming that the recent transfer of documents to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) from his resort in Florida was viewed as "no big deal."

In a statement, Trump said he arranged for boxes containing "letters, records, newspapers, magazines, and various articles" to be transported to the National Archives after "collaborative and respectful discussions."

"The media's characterization of my relationship with NARA is Fake News. It was exactly the opposite! It was a great honor to work with NARA to help formally preserve the Trump Legacy," he said.

Earlier this week, The Washington Post reported that the National Archives had recovered 15 boxes of White House records from Mar-a-Lago. The New York Times later reported that possibly classified materials had been discovered among the recovered documents.

"The papers were given easily and without conflict and on a very friendly basis, which is different from the accounts being drawn up by the Fake News Media," Trump said on Thursday. "In fact, it was viewed as routine and 'no big deal.' In actuality, I have been told I was under no obligation to give this material based on various legal rulings that have been made over the years."

Trump also pushed back against reports that documents were regularly found flushed down the toilet in the presidential residence during his time in office, calling the claim "categorically untrue and simply made up by a reporter in order to get publicity for a mostly fictitious book."

      William,

With all the censorship by big tech and all the craziness by Dem politicians and all the calls for eliminating Trump supporters from society, are you enjoying the coming of the socialist utopia in the USA.

Use your eyes. And try to take the core-story glasses off.

If you can manage that, even for as moment, that's what the start of socialist and communist utopias look like.

      William,

That's what I thought--with sadness. You can't take the bias glasses off and just look. The judgment (or prejudice) is set in stone (the core story) along with the presumption that thinking like this is all others do.

      S,

You should see the (lack of) sources, too.

      :)

For the record, the imaged text above comes from an article in NBC News by Marc Caputo (see here).

The Giorno in the passage is Karen Giorno, a former Trump aide in Florida. Notice how Caputo even got into Giorno's head, saying what she thought and all.

That must be one hell of a source, says I when I read that. So I looked for the source and it's right there in the article (the same one as in the link I just gave):

      Quote

About halfway to Mar-a-Lago, Giorno said in an interview, she realized that Ye, Fuentes and the other man weren’t properly attired.

      Nice.

      The source is an interview.

      Wow.

      An interview.

Which one? Published where? With whom?

      Blank out.

I looked for this interview for about half an hour all over the Internet using my sundry search talents, but I gave up. I wanted to see if it was fact or fiction or good or shoddy, etc. Maybe this alleged interview is out there. I couldn't find it.

One thing is for sure, though.

Caputo knows Karen Giorno so much he can quote her thoughts. That's a badass. And here I thought I was good at quoting folks, but this guy puts me to shame. I have not found out how to work telepathy yet.

      :)

And, of course, Trump must be hiding in a bunker by now. Thise is the one that has him terrified and reeling. Trump knows he is now toast. The wheels are coming off. The walls are closing in. Hands up, don't shoot!

      Er...

I'm not sure that last one belongs.

      But you know the schtick...

      :)

      William,

I had a feeling someone would do something like that and I also had a feeling it would be you.

      :)

There's another reason for President Trump doing that than being a mediocre bureaucrat in a fiction work.

The left has been on a constant campaign to sever the current generation from the American heroes of the past, then replace that with an invented history and, ultimately, obedience to a collectivist state. They do similar with family, too. In human nature, pride in a country's heroes and love of family are cornerstones of social order that resist a takeover by a new social system.

The Founding Fathers of the US were great admirers of classic architecture in homage to the Roman and Greek social system models they studied and incorporated in the US Constitution. Classic architecture for government buildings is a subconscious link to the Founding Fathers in the minds of Americans. So I think it is 100% correct for President Trump to do what he did.

In today's statue-toppling idiocy, if the left were ever permitted to choose styles of architecture for government buildings, I can just see it making buildings in the shape of tribal huts, Indian Teepees, raised fists, and pussy hats. :)  The sickle and hammer of communism would definitely become commonplace. This even happened in Brazil in the way Oscar Niemeyer did in his Memorial JK (monument to Juscelino Kubitschek, the Brazilian president who led the building of Brasilia project). The statue looks like an abstract version of a sickle and hammer. (Niemeyer was a lifelong communist and this statue used to cause the military dictators indigestion.)

      image.png

So I say good on President Trump for keeping the American hero ancestors narrative alive by protecting the connection of modern life with the Founding Fathers through the visual form of government buildings.
