Mail-In Voting as Path to the Suicide of Freedom

The New York Times is garbage.

The first paragraph of Wikipedia's entry on The New York Times:

Quote

The New York Times (NYT), sometimes also known as The Times,[6] is an American newspaperbased in New York City with worldwide influence and readership.[7][8] Nicknamed "the Gray Lady",[9] the Times has long been regarded within the industry as a national "newspaper of record".[10] The paper's motto, "All the News That's Fit to Print", appears in the upper left-hand corner of the front page. Founded in 1851, the paper has won 130 Pulitzer Prizes, more than any other newspaper.[11][12] It is ranked 18th in the world by circulation and 3rd in the U.S.[13]

The paper's motto, "All the News That's Fit to Print," would be accurately modified these days to:

"All the Lies We See Fit to Print".

One of the worst cases of irrelevant gotcha happened in the White House today. And it was over mail in voting fraud.

President Trump said mail in ballots have been found in creeks. So a reporter asked Kayleigh what creek he was referring to.

Kayleigh said, in that case, he was referring to the widely publicized ballots found in a ditch and he used the word creek instead.

Then the reporter went on the attack. "Which creek?" he kept demanding of Kayleigh. "He said creek, so which creek? Why can't you tell me which creek?" And on and on it went like that.

Finally Kayleigh had to be rude with him to get him to shut up.

She stated clearly that the issue at hand was mail in ballot fraud, which was the important part of reality. But to this reporter, the issue was the creek.

What's worse, I think President Trump did that on purpose to get gotcha freaks like that hapless reporter wound up. That way the public looks even more at mail in ballot fraud since the dork is screaming about it at the top of his lungs as he is crowing a dogwhistle victory over Trump.

Things are slowly turning about the fraud opportunity.

Appeals court restores Georgia’s Election Day absentee ballot deadline

Quote

A federal appeals court on Friday reinstated an Election Day deadline for Georgia voters to return their absentee ballots, overriding a judge’s decision that would have given voters three additional days during the coronavirus pandemic.

A three-judge panel of the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals decided 2-1 to grant a stay of a judge’s ruling to count ballots postmarked by Nov. 3 and received at county election offices by the following Friday.

The decision restored a state law setting Georgia’s absentee ballot deadline at 7 p.m. on Election Day.

The ruling will likely disqualify thousands of absentee ballots mailed close to Nov. 3 and delivered afterward by the U.S. Postal Service.

The number of late-arriving ballots could have been enough to swing close elections. During Georgia’s primary this year, election officials rejected about 8,400 absentee ballots that were received after the June 9 election day.

U.S. Circuit Judge Britt Grant wrote that Georgians have many opportunities to vote outside of Election Day polling places: They can request absentee ballots, return them in drop boxes or cast ballots during three weeks of early voting.

It just keeps piling up.

All this is not new, though.

If you can, try to go back in time and remember all those people shutting you down for asking about voter fraud--all that fist-pounding on the table and honking about there is no evidence for voter fraud, it just doesn't happen except for one or two cases of a small number of votes.

Then remember those people still exist. And look at the piles of evidence of voter fraud appearing all over the place right now. And do not fool yourself into thinking they were unaware of this back then.

They have always been aware.

They were covering it up, just like they are trying to cover it up these days, but without as much success.

And even then, what is coming out is just a scratch on the top of the iceberg. This sucker goes down a long way into the hidden depths. And it's a big sucker.

People are on it this time around. They won't find all they should, but they will find a lot.

Another under investigation.

USPS collection boxes broken into in multiple Virginia counties, sparking fears of missing ballots
An investigation has been launched

Quote

Virginia election officials have issued an alert to voters who submitted mail-in ballots at United States Postal Service outdoor mail collection boxes after officials discovered six receptacles spanning multiple counties in the central part of the state were broken into in recent days.

What are the details?

The Virginia Department of Elections sent out a news release Monday warning that "six outdoor mail collection boxes were broken into sometime between Saturday afternoon and this morning."

WWBT-TV reported that "several post offices" called law enforcement to report that the door latches on the busted mail boxes had been "pried open with a tool or force."

Three of the compromised mail boxes were located in Henrico County, two in Chesterfield County, and one in the capital city of Richmond, an independent city.

The announcement stated that "neither the department nor USPS has information about whether any election mail was contained in the boxes," adding that the postal service had launched an investigation.

Mail theft is a federal crime in the United States, punishable by up to five years in prison.

Election authorities noted that voters who fear their ballot might have been dropped into one of the damaged mail boxes can track their ballot online at the state's election website, and reassured them that a new ballot could be issued, if necessary, at their local registrar's office.

The article didn't way whether the counties were Trump country or anti-Trump country, but whatcha wanna bet they are... you know... Trump country?

:)

More shit coming, that's for sure.

But people are watching.

All the above counties were among those heavily affected by SARS-CoV-2. Not overwhelmingly pro Trump.

In Henrico County, VA 57.4% of the people voted Democrat in the last presidential election, 36.6% voted Republican, and the remaining 6.0% voted Independent.

In Chesterfield County, VA 46.0% of the people voted Democrat in the last presidential election, 48.2% voted Republican

In Richmond County, VA 36.8% of the people voted Democrat in the last presidential election, 60.4% voted Republican

And here we have some more:

DESTROYED: Tons of Trump mail-in ballot applications SHREDDED in back of tractor trailer headed for Pennsylvania

At least these were only ballot applications, not actual ballots.

But still...

That's not OK.

Some Dems will probably think it is OK, but it's not OK.

This is called cheating. Just look at the video.

And this video:

I love that comment at the end. "I won't let you down, Trump."

For people who want a more middle-of-the road analysis, Tim Cook does a pretty good job. I disagree with the way he frames some things, but I realize a lot of people also frame things that way.

He was crucified when he first started pointing out problems with mail-in voting.

Now he gets to say, "I told you so." And he is saying it--with great satisfaction.

And showing where Dems are jumping ship in panic.

But he is still framing it using some leftie (read anti-Trump) talking points.

He is also using some right wing talking points.

Like I said, middle of the road.

What is a "Trump mail-in ballot application"? The first several images here show no party affiliation on the application and include no picture of Trump. Apparently the Republican National Committee has engaged in some trickery -- see the ones with pghcitypaper.com -- like the makers of the videos MSK posted.

Merlin,

As I understand it, instructions on what to do to request a mail-in ballot.

Political advertising.

It's something politicians do during elections.

I know this must mean something, but I can't figure it out.

Three of the images in the second row at the URL I linked show a 'Pennsylvania Application for Mail-in-Ballot'. It appears to be a 3-page form with the 3rd page showing addresses where to send the application.

One image in the 5th row and one image in the 6th row show 3 pages of an 'Official Republican Party Mail-in Ballot Application.' The first two pages look identical and like the 1st page of the above 3-pager. Clicking on either, I see the back of the form. Clicking on the one in the 6th row, I see another, different form along with a picture of Trump. It is a 2020 State Absentee Ballot Request Form with "North Carolina" near Trump's picture.  (It's not the same picture shown by LeftyCrypto.)

Merlin,

I still don't understand.

People are shredding pro-Trump ballot ads and information. Truck loads.

That was my point.

The videos happened on the parking lot of a printing company. The pictures in the search you linked to are from all over the place.

So I don't get the connection other than to say lots of pictures exist from lots of places of mail-in ballot stuff in Pennsylvania. And that some look legit and others don't. And, maybe, that search engines aren't perfect and sometimes show stuff that is not relevant to the keywords entered.

Hell, I bet if you check the dates at the sites hosting the pictures, some of those pictures are from other years.

Come on, people.

If you're gonna cheat with mail-in voting, at least make it a contest.

Look at this:

Election officials: Don't disinfect, or microwave, your mail-in ballot

At first the Dems scared their legitimate voters to death to get them to vote by mail as a smokescreen for mail-in ballot fraud activities.

But they scared the legit voters so much, they are not only voting by mail, some of them are trying to sanitize their ballots with disinfectant and other means and end up destroying the legitimacy of their ballots.

Just so we can put a few faces and/or details to the crimes, here is a voting fraud list I got off of thedonald dot win (see here).

I didn't go through all of them. I cherry-picked several to look at. Some are from last year and earlier, but from what I can tell, the vast majority are from 2020.

Most interesting... most interesting.

The following was added later in the thread by a different poster and showed a form of voter fraud I had not thought about.

Quote

A quote from that link.

Quote

... a Houston precinct judge and staff illegally used a stack of driver’s licenses in their possession to allow people to vote illegally in the 2020 election at a drive-through voting window created by the Coronavirus pandemic.

Here's a picture of the table inside the voting window:

image.png

And a few other shots:

image.png

And I'm sure there are plenty more driver's licenses where those came from.

Whoever shows up can be "legalized" and vote right on the spot from within their car, whether illegal alien or repeat voter or child--or even zombie.

:)

Hell, with a list of driver's licenses like that, forget about voter fraud. It's small change to get a credit card falsification device or take out a bunch of loans and go to town.

Oh... I forgot... this was a Houston precinct judge. A judge would never do anything like that, right? Just voter fraud. After all, there's the integrity issue.

:)

Michigan Court of Appeals, 3-0.

Court blocks Michigan's 2-week absentee ballot extension

Quote

Absentee ballots must arrive by Election Day to be counted, the Michigan Court of Appeals said Friday, blocking a 14-day extension that had been ordered by a lower court and embraced by key Democratic officials in a battleground state.

Any changes must rest with the Legislature, not the judiciary, the Republican-appointed appeals court judges said in a 3-0 opinion.

. . .

The appeals court... said the pandemic and any delivery woes “are not attributable to the state.”

. . .

The court also reversed another portion of Stephens’ decision, which would have allowed a non-family member to deliver a completed ballot in the final days before the election if a voter consented.

Some Dems are not hiding their wish to make voter fraud low risk.

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer Vetoes Bill Targeting Voter Fraud

Quote

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) vetoed legislation that would have made it a felony to attempt to apply for multiple absentee ballots or fill out an application for other individuals without their consent.

. . .

“Any suggestion that the filing of a second absentee ballot application is criminal behavior creates needless confusion and fearmongering around the absentee voting process,” wrote Whitmer. “It is bad for voters and bad for our elections.”

Well, it's bad for voters who want to commit fraud and it's bad for her elections, that's for sure. She wants to win by cheating.

At least the higher court clipped her wings on extending the election cutoff date.

No more chances to find boxes of filled-out ballots in the trunks of cars that someone forgot about after the votes have been counted.

I am pretty sure President Trump is going to take Michigan and down-ballot will do great for Republicans. Knowing how this will make her feel gives me pleasure despite trying to resist it.

I hate authoritarians. Especially those who cheat, then demand you say they are honest.

And here's another:

Postal employee fired, federal charges possible after absentee ballots dumped in Jeffersontown

I'm loving the scrutiny and press on this stuff.

President Trump put a huge spotlight on it and the public reaction is a lot different than before.

People are actually looking for cases of voter fraud and reporting it.
