Restoring deleted blog comments

[Link to kerfufflage on the main stage] Three unfinished 'draft' blog entries had been posted into abeyance, had been put off to the future, which future was January 1 2020.  The entries were glops of quoted material (some of which contained a stupid 'turn Trump to Drumpf' JS routine) ... and I had no pertinent plan to revisit them. When I deleted them, I also deleted a number of comments that were attached to at least one of the entries.

I had thought there was no way of saving those comments once the blog entries had been removed. However, I noticed today that my syndicated 'feed' represented at Feedreader preserved the deleted items.  Here I post a visual snapshot of six of those items.  The 'feed' only encompassed these six when I checked it today.

Deleted. Gone. No longer here, departed. Gone up country to a good home.

It was an unfinished blog entry that I failed to detect & delete during the earlier ruckus.

If only you could communicate without loaded language and personal insults ...

From a Canadian perspective, how do you consider the royal migration to Vancouver Island? Do you think it will be where they will safely stay?

Curious, William, I looked on the net for Vancouver Island’s climate. It rarely goes below 32 degrees F. or above 66. Peter

Today. January Climate & Weather Averages in Vancouver Island. High Temp: 47 °F Low Temp: 37 °F Mean Temp: 42 °F Precipitation: 12.26" Humidity: 90% Dew Point: 39 °F Wind: 6 mph Pressure: 29.99 "Hg Visibility: 10 mi

Little Archie will need a jacket. It seems like a decent place to live. But I would miss warmer summers. It's 41 here on Delmarva. I went outside to throw the birds some seed on our concrete driveway and I was not wearing shows but it didn't bother me  . . .  much.

I don't really care that much. If pressed, I'd say that something about the place appealed to the couple, and given their star-power, if they choose to maintain an Island residence, they will likely add much kaching to the economy of the region. Dollars to doughnuts. The capital city of our province is powered by tourism as well as bureaucracy ...

Vancouver, British Columbia is a major film, television and digital media production centre.  Meghan could be in the studio after a half-hour seaplane ride from the private residence ...

... one thing that stands out for me is that Canadians on the whole do not 'mob' royals. Although the international paparazzi will likely hound the couple until the end of time, I think citizens would tend to be 'protective,' let them have a private life once they have established a home for their family.

-- a few breathless news stories from our provincial outlets last month remarked upon 'ordinary folks' coming across the couple while hiking in the woods. The encounters seemed to be much ado about nothing:  we saw the Royals, we gave them space, Harry helped us with a selfie.

My mind goes back to The Duke and Duchess of Windsor.  After the abdication crisis they got a life in France.

The jottings you deleted yesterday were titled "The #QAnon phenomena, as explained by various outlets and commenters".

Did you mean the plural, or do you not know that "phenomena" is plural?

Many phenomena attend the Q phenomenon.  To my mind, Q is the ultimate boondoggle for rational inquiry. I've been directed a few times to separate "Q" from "QAnon," and I will probably make the same kind of differentiation errors.

Are you taking questions about "Q" and/or "QAnon"?

Thank you William. I did not know that. I think my neighbors would give the Royals some space too. It would be kind of cool to be out jogging or walking and coming from the other direction are Harry with his wife and little Archie in a jogging buggy. Some more “Canadian questions?” Do you think of yourself as British in some ways? If you saw Queen Elizabeth in person would you think of her as your monarch? I know that sounds weird but I suppose I would be tongue tied if President Trump knocked on my door and asked to use the bathroom. Aye Capitan! Peter

Notes. “As gross as ignorance made drunk.” William Shakespeare, in “Othello.”  Was The Bard thinking of Le Cockroach or Representative Adam Shitt? *(inside joke)

I don't know what to make of that.  Why would you be asking me questions "about 'Q' and/or 'QAnon'"?

He wants to save you from “the ultimate boondoggle for rational inquiry.”

But first you have to want to be saved.

I am not sure how. Is it done like you did to Jonathan and Ellen recently? Implying they were illiterate, unread, unaware of your pet scientists, if they haven’t read your favorite book? Is that how one refrains from using loaded language, Shitbag?

Or should i call you an asshole, as you did Jonathan for, for, what did he do?

Oh, I remember, he repeated his legitimate scientific questions.

So, when I am asked legitimate questions, I call the questioner an asshole?

Is that how I can be a Superior Human like you, Shit-for-Brains?

Harry and Meghan are dropping the title “Royal.” Henceforth they shall be called “Roils.” Their new line of fine Canadian Whiskey shall be named “Crown Roil.”
